Background: Water environment has many definitions. It may indicate the natural environment where the water were formed, spread and transformed. It also refers to the water body that surrounds population and affects human life in both direct and indirect way, and all kinds of natural factors and relevant social factors that influence its normal functions. Some define it as the space environment where the natural waters, with land as their border is relatively stable. Surface water environment includes river, lake, reservoir, ocean, pond, marsh, glacier and so on. Ground water

environment contains spring water, shallow groundwater, deep phreatic water, etc. As one of the basic elements of the environment, water environment is an essential place for human survival and development. However it is the area that is the most seriously affected by human disturbance and destroying. Water environment pollution and destruction has become one of the major environmental problems in today's world. At present, China is developing at a high speed, and Chinese people is on the way to a new developing stage with the direction of building a well-off society in an all-around way. At the same time, people pay more and more attention on quality of life and living, having higher and higher requirement on healthy living. As the source of life, water is the essential part of human living and developing. Recently healthy drinking water environment was seriously affected by many factors, such as shortage in many regions, unreasonable water using habit, damage to water environment, influence brought by water conservancy project and the pollution of industrial and sanitary waste. The improvement of drinking water has become the problem concerns national economy and the peoples livelihood. There is no exception that every metropolis was built near water, which indicates the importance of water in everyday life. Not only water is a necessary resource without which people cannot live, but also a part of balanced development of ecosystem, meaning much to living environment protection. Along with the acceleration of national urbanization, the explosive increase of urban population and the massive gathering of modern industry in the city, the urban water system have suffered more than ever. Therefore, the urban water environment adjustment ability became weaker and weaker, and the urban ecosystem was suffering heavy damage, which became prominent environment problem in many cities. The harmony between human and naturea viewpoint suggested in very ancient time but abandoned by modern people was recalled today. People have paid a heavy price for taking much more than the nature has in store. Urban water environment is an important part of urban ecosystem. There is no harmonious and balanced urban ecosystem without a healthy water environment development. The price we paid has warned us again and again that we should pay attention to urban water environment. Nowadays people have a better understanding of water environment and ecosystem, and realized the significance of the water environment to urban ecosystem and everyday life. As the result, 2013 IHWE China (Beijing) International Health Water Industry & Water Environment Industry Expo came into being. IHWE 2013 is part of China International Human Settlement Environment Expo As early as October 2012, the leader of Yonghong International Expo (Beijing) Co.,Ltd. has already discussed with the director of China Real Estate Research Association Human Settlement Environment Expo on holding International Environment Art Expo. The two reached an agreement that the expo would be held in Beijing, 2013. Participation Procedures 1. Exhibitors must have valid business license which is in the period of validity, QS certification and other legal documents, and etc.

2. The person in charge of the company fill "Exhibitor Application and Contract Form" after selecting the booth, then have it affixed with official seal, fax or e-mail it to the Organizing Committee Secretariat (the fax or photocopy of the contract has the same effect), the Organizing Committee Secretariat will issue a "Booth Confirmation" to exhibitors after receiving the "Exhibitor Application and Contract Form" within two days. 3. Exhibitors should transfer the exhibition fees to the designated bank account of the Organizing Committee of the exposition within five days when receiving the "Booth confirmation", otherwise the Organizing Committee may have the right to change or cancel the qualification of the booth. 4. The Organizing Committee adheres to principles of application, payment and confirmation should be prior. 5.
