Venture Capital / Private Equity Associate (Pre-MBA)

(BEAT), Cavium Networks (CAVM), ECIN (Allscripts), Ingenio (AT&T), Internet Brands (INET),
LoopNet (LOOP), MediGuide (St. Jude Medical), Mellanox (MLNX), ROM (Celsa), SideStep
(Kayak) and Tellme Networks (Microsoft). Also, we recently closed on several large portfolio
acquisitions from Safeguard Scientifics, Boston Scientific and Rustic Canyon Partners.

Saints is seeking a Pre-MBA Associate to join our team. Candidates must have a solid academic
record, strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling proficiency and excellent written and oral
communication skills. Candidates should be intellectually curious and possess strong ethical
character. Buyout experience a plus.

The Associate will be expected to hit the ground running taking a proactive role in conducting
extensive pre-investment due diligence and research and ultimately helping execute and manage
the investments. The Associate will be working directly with the senior professionals of the firm
and will have the opportunity to get involved in every aspect of the investment process from
sourcing, executing and portfolio management.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1) At least two years of private equity/buyout, investment banking or VC experience. Must have
been highly ranked within analyst class.

2) Financial due diligence and strong research skills are a top priority.

3) Excellent modeling and valuation skills and must be quantitative and analytical. Strong
consideration will be given to candidates with buyout modeling experience.

4) Must have exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, and a high-level of maturity.

5) Must have a proactive attitude with good business judgment and passion for investing.

6) Minimum two years full time work experience.

7) Exceptional academic background from a top school is required.

8) Science or engineering undergraduate preferred, but not required.

This position is for a two-year minimum commitment. Compensation is commensurate with

experience and will include a base salary with an annual performance-based bonus. This is for a
summer 2009 start date.
