System Analyst
Barclays Technology - Pune, Maharashtra - July 2010 to Present My Role: Enhancements, Developments and Support. Technologies: Abinitio 3.0, Teradata 13.0, Shell Scripts, TWS on UNIX platform. My career started in Barclays as developer. In this project my contribution was to develop ABINITIO graph, TERADATA SQL queries to validate all input files, apply business rule and load into Teradata database. Once data loaded into database then extract records into files and send to source teams and also generate COGNOS reports. Created TWS jobs and jobs stream/schedulers run graphs at remote servers at its scheduled time. I have also good TWS technical skill. Handling all activities like, re-run job, hold job, cancel job, force start job, check jobs log etc. Around six month ago development activities over and I am working as L2 level support for this project. Handling all kinds of production issues and try to complete all batch jobs on time and If any issue then I have to find solution or solution to fix issues as soon as possible. Development and Enhancement: Over 7+ years of experience in IT, with proficiency as TERADATA, UNIX and ABINITIO ETL developer In-depth hands on experience in Teradata, ABINITIO ETL, UNIX Shell Scripts and TWS design and development and should have excellent data analysis skills In-depth hands on experience in TWS crating jobs/job stream, monitoring and Admin as well. Expertise in creating views, stored procedures, functions, Packages, joins and hash indexes in Teradata database. Expertise in writing large/complex queries using SQL. Expertise creating ABINITIO graphs with help of different ABINITIO components. Proficient in performance analysis, monitoring and SQL query tuning using EXPLAIN PLAN, Collect Statistics, Hints and SQL Trace both in Teradata as well as Oracle. Excellent experience in Unix Shell scripting. Well versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) i.e. Requirement(s) gathering & analyzing, Design/redesign, Implementation and Testing. Having complete domain and development Life Cycle knowledge of Data Warehousing & Client Server Concepts and knowledge of basic data modeling.  Developed scripts about improvements in monitoring tools/disk check etc. Incident management Ensure incidents are correctly identified, prioritized, diagnosed incidents and services are restored by fixing the appropriately. Ensure all the Problem Tickets raised are fully addressed with a permanent solution. Ensure proper communication is put in place to inform Users, Business as regards incident, ETA and its resolution. Co-ordinate local/ infrastructure teams including DBA + IT dev teams whenever required Preparing the Problem Reports; create recovery actions where applicable. Provide update the domain level Incident and Problem Management Meetings to my manager and business. Contribute / involve with business for SLA's, any escalation or issue. Designation: Senior Software Engineer. My Role: L2 level Support, Enhancements and Developments. Mphasis Ltd - Pune, Maharashtra - November 2006 to January 2009 My Role: Enhancements and Developments. Technologies: PL/SQL, Teradata, Shell Scripts, Autosys on UNIX platform. I was working in Mphasis as L2 level production support for Telecom domain. My role and responsibilities are work on ticket which are passed by level 1 support team, work around and fixed it and put on tract so that job cycle not delay. I was worked on enhancements and development kind of activities also.

Software Trainee
STG International Ltd - Gurgaon, Haryana - January 2005 to July 2005 My Role: Support and Developments.

Technologies: PL/SQL, Shell Scripts on UNIX platform. I was involved in the migration of multiple banks onto the Infosys financial core banking software, i.e. Finacle. I was working in STG as software trainee. My responsibility was to used developed shell scripts and Finacle application feature to extract data from one bank and finally load into target Bank database. After migration I was working on migration issue like balance tally, missed account, opening a new account etc.
