Countries
Production country Adapt Denim has chosen Turkey and China to produce the garments. The choice for Turkey was made because of the high productivity and quality. Besides, research and a study on the standard allowed minutes per country, showed that Turkey has a profitable price/quality ratio. Turkey is also rapidly evolving and making big steps on manufacturing in a sustainable way . From Turkey we can transport the garments to the store in Rotterdam quickly. This gives us the opportunity to get garments quickly, which should reduce the restock time. The second country Adapt Denim has chosen to manufacture is China. In China we will only produce basics. Because of the low costs and the big volume of garments, the choice to produce in China was easy made because of the low production costs. explanation outsourcen As a new brand in the retail industry, its very hard to start with your own production process. Starting a new company with a own production chain is very risky. This also means we should increase our sales prices because of the big investments. Thats why Adapt Denim has chosen to outsource its manufacturing to Turkey and China. The manufactures have more experience in manufacturing garments on a sustainable way. That way we can reasure our customers of a continuous quality for a good price. Manufacturers fleeces and technical tops, are made from eco or sustainable fabrics. They produce from a sustainable and from an ethical standpoint and make sure our factories have a suitable working environment. This means they only use green electricity from good energy to power their factories. Besides that, they also offer they make sure their employees get a good price. Adapt Denim also wants to work with a Chinese manufacturer. MikkaWorks is a great manufacturer to produce basics, like t-shirts from single jerseys. MikkaWorks is a clothing/ apparel manufacturer and fabric supplier based in Qingdao, China. They provide high quality clothing production and fabric making. MikkaWorks specialises in organic fabrics like hemp/organic cotton blends, including GOTS certified organic cotton and GOTS certified organic linen. They can customize almost any kind of fabric including exotic and upcoming fabrics like soy, hemp and bamboo. Product development Yew and MikkaWorks also make their own products. With this in mind and their sustainable and creative philosophy in mind, we made the choice to work with them to create and innovate our products on the long term. This to combine our strengths to offer our customer products with a new or different characteristics, with additional benefits to the customer.

Fist a truck will bring the goods from the factory to the boat in China and in Holland will bring the items to the shop. We decided to let the factorys arrange and ship the orders to us. We do have our own terms and conditions to the transport companys which we will have contracted. Multiple sourcing Because Adapt Denim is working with multiple manufacturers to supply our goods, this means , if needed we are able to let products produced at another manufacturer, we are already working with. That way we are able to be sure the product will always be available. Secrecy clausal As a new company on the market, offering offering customers innovative products, the chance other companys want to copy your ideas, is big. This agreement will outlines confidential material, knowledge, or information that Adapt Denim will share with the manufacturers but we wish to restrict access to or by third parties. All the garments should be put together professionally, using high quality fabrics and dyes. Legal Requirements Suppliers must observe all applicable laws of their country, including laws relating to employment, discrimination, the environment, safety and the apparel and related fields. Moreover, suppliers must comply with applicable Dutch laws relating to the import of products, including country of origin labeling, product labeling, fabric- and product testing. If local or industry practices exceed local legal requirements, this higher standard should be met. Political aspects Turkey The government in Turkey is a democratic republic which advocates the separation of state and religion, therefore although 90% of the population is Muslim, many other beliefs are actively present in the country, such as Christianity, Judaism, etc. The President of the Republic is the head of state and represents the republic and the unity of the Turkish nation, as well as upholding the Turkish constitution and overseeing the workings of the organs of state. Executive power is held by the government, the head of which is the Prime Minister. Legislative power is shared between the government and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey whereas the Judiciary is independent and protected by the constitution.

The government of Turkey is pro-western and are actively working towards the integration of Turkey into the European Union. They have implemented actions towards a major economic reform which, as can be seen by the growing economy are working to improve the conditions in the country. The government has been in office since the end of 2002. Schedule of Hofstede Turkey Power distance Turkey scores high on this dimension (score of 66) which means that the following characterizes the Turkish style: Dependent, hierarchical, superiors often inaccessible and the ideal boss is a father figure. Power is centralized and managers rely on their bosses and on rules. Employees expect to be told what to do. Control is expected and attitude towards managers is

formal. Communication is indirect and the information flow is selective. The same structure can be observed in the family unit, where the father is a kind of patriarch to whom others submit. Individualism Turkey, with a score of 37 is a collectivistic society. This means that the We is important, people belong to in-groups (families, clans or organizations) who look after each other in exchange for loyalty. Communication is indirect and the harmony of the group has to be maintained, open conflicts are avoided. The relationship has a moral base and this always has priority over task fulfillment. Time must be invested initially to establish a relationship of trust. Nepotism may be found more often. Feedback is always indirect, also in the business environment. Masculinity / Femininity Turkey scores 45 and is in the middle of the scale but more on the feminine side. This means that the softer aspects of culture such as leveling with others, consensus, sympathy for the underdog are valued and encouraged. Conflicts are avoided in private and work life and consensus at the end is important. Leisure time is important for Turks, it is the time when the whole family, clan and friends come together to enjoy life. Status is shown, but this comes more out of the high PDI. Uncertainty avoidance Turkey scores 85 on this dimension and thus there is a huge need for laws and rules. In order to minimize anxiety, people make use of a lot of rituals. For foreigners they might seem religious, with the many references to Allah, but often they are just traditional social patterns, used in specific situations to ease tension. Long term orientation The long term orientation dimension is closely related to the teachings of Confucius and can be interpreted as dealing with societys search for virtue,

Adapt Denim Page 9

The extent to which a society shows a pragmatic future-oriented perspective rather than a conventional historical short-term point of view. Power distance Political aspects China According to the Chinese Constitution, The Peoples Republic of China is a socialist state under the peoples democratic dictatorship led by the working class and based on the alliance of workers and peasants. The government is comprised of the system of peoples congresses and the political party system that accords with it is that of multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC). As one of Chinas fundamental political system, the multi-party cooperation system identifies the status and functions of the CPC and the eight other political parties in the political life of the state, and the relations between the parties (Background Note: China, 2009) Schedule of Hofstede Individualism At a score of 20 China is a highly collectivist culture where people act in the interests of the group and not necessarily of themselves. In-group considerations affect hiring and promotions with closer in-groups (such as family) are getting preferential treatment. Employee commitment to the organization (but not necessarily to the people in the organization) is low. Whereas relationships with colleagues are cooperative for in-groups they are cold or even hostile to out-groups. Personal relationships prevail over task and company. Masculinity / Femininity At 66 China is a masculine society success oriented and driven. The need to ensure success can be exemplified by the fact that many Chinese will sacrifice family and leisure priorities to work. Service people (such as hairdressers) will provide services until very late at night. Leisure time is not so important. The migrated farmer workers will leave their families behind in faraway plac-

es in order to obtain better work and pay in the cities. Another example is that Chinese students care very much about their exam scores and ranking as this is the main criteria to achieve success or not. Uncertainty avoidance At 30 China has a low score on uncertainty avoidance. Truth may be relative though in the immediate social circles there is concern for Truth with a capital T and rules (but not necessarily laws) abound. None the less, adherence to laws and rules may be flexible to suit the actual situation and pragmatism is a fact of life. The Chinese are comfortable with ambiguity; the Chinese language is full of ambiguous meanings that can be difficult for Western people to follow. Chinese are adaptable and entrepreneurial. At the time of writing the majority (70% -80%) of Chinese businesses tend to be small to medium sized and family owned. Long term orientation With a score of 118 China is a highly long term oriented society in which persistence and perseverance are normal. Relationships are ordered by status and the order is observed. Nice people are thrifty and sparing with resources and investment tends to be in long term projects such as real estate. Traditions can be adapted to suit new conditions. Chinese people recognize that government is by men rather than as in the Low LTO countries by an external influence such as God or the law. Thinking ways focus on the full or no confidence, contrasting with low LTO countries that think in probabilistic ways. Also should or employees be allowed, to have at least one day off per week. Child Labour. Use of child labour is not permissible. Workers can be no less than 16 years of age and not younger than the compulsory age to be in school. We will not utilize partners, who use child labour in any of their facilities. We support the development of legitimate workplace apprenticeship programs for the educational benefit of younger people. Wages and Benefits. We will only do business with partners; who provide wages, benefits and compensations for overtime, that comply with any applicable law and match the prevailing local manufacturing practices. Health and Safety Conditions must be safe, clean and acceptable through out all work and residential facilities. Employment Practice. We will only support businesses that are fair to their employees: Environmental Practice. We will only do business with part-

ners, who share our commitment to the environment and who conduct their business in a way that is consistent with Fowm Jeans Environmental Philosophy and Guiding Principles. Health & Safety. We will only utilize business partners, who provide workers with a safe and healthy work environment. Business partners who provide residential facilities for their workers must provide safe and healthy facilities. Discrimination. While we recognize and respect cultural differences, we believe that workers should be employed on the basis of their ability to do the job, rather than on the basis of personal characteristics or beliefs. We favour suppliers who do not discriminate based upon race, religion, national origin, political affiliation or sex. Finally we expect them to encourage free association and freedom of expression. Ethical Conduct. We will encourage our suppliers to embrace ethical standards in the conduct of their businesses. We will not support or participate in any way in any local, regional or national war or armed conflict in any country, in which we do business and we will seek to minimize our business risk, where conflict exists, which will emphasize the safety of our employees and representatives. Packaging Yew and MikkaWorks both try to use as much re-used packaging as possible. The most deliveries they send directly to the customers go out in reused packaging. They work with local businesses to take their surplus packaging (like jiffy bags) and use them to send out our products. They will only use packaging that meets our standards (no damaged or dirty packaging), and they stamp the packs to tell you that they have been reused.

Payment conditions Because both factories also make the fabrics used to make the garments. Adapt Denim will pay 25% of the total cost of the order in advance to give the manufacturers money to make the fabrics. Bacause of the crisis manufacturers also dont have much cash flow. Thats why they dont take any big risks now. Adapt Denim understands this and is willing to pay 25% of the total agreed price in advance. The rest of the payment will happen between 2 weeks after delivery and approving the goods. Both manufacturers offer several payment options. You can pay by credit/debit card or through PayPal or bank transaction. Invoice In our invoice the products, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services the manufacturer has provided Adapt Denim. Also the payment terms, the service listed, the maximum number of days in which to pay for these goods and the maximum time to deliver the goods. This is a thing that will never change. The exact terms depend of the invoice and are negotiated by Adapt Denim and the manufacturer. Communication The communication with companies will be done by emails and phone calls. Deals made will be signed, digitally or scanned and mailed to ech other. Official agreements will be sent sealed registered to each other, making sure the contracts will only reach the person wherefore it is meant to be. Legal aspect If a company fails to meet the expectation as agreed in the terms of condition and contracts, this will have immediately consequences for the company. If the company fails to compensate Adapt Denim as mentioned in the signed contract, the company will be sued.

Delivery time For our good from Yew and Balkan, we set the delivery time is between 3 and 5 weeks depending on the size of the order. The delivery time is the time between us placing the order and receiving our goods. The delivery time for goods from Mikka Works is around 5 to 8 weeks. Because the factory is located in China and the goods will be shipped to Holland by boat. Bad performance Both factories make a good and reliable impression on us. Should, under any circumstances one of the 2 factories fail to supply us of our goods or our required quality, the collaboration will be ended immediately. While we are looking for a new manufacturer, the other company can entirely or partly take over some of the production of the other company.

Economical durability/ Product life cycle Adapt Denim is sustainable in several ways. Adapt denim uses hot and cold techniques in garments. This technique is topped by a small and thin device that is called: the H-Bomb. This technique saves on energy consumption indoors and outdoors. The second way in which we want to apply sustainability is an other technique in our collection, the reversible technique. This means that the clothes can be worn on two different sides. One side contains a color, and the other side a different color or print. That way Adapt Denim saves fabric during production, two jeans in one jeans. The clothing is made from recycled cotton and wool. After the lifetime of the clothes, they are ecologically degradable and again the old fibres are being reused for other purposes, like insulation of houses. Research has shown that cotton fiber retains heat better than the chemical insulation. So we make a sustainable circle for our clothes. However after the recycling of cotton or wool they also loose their strength. This is due to the use of the garment before it was recycled. Therefore recycled cotton will be mixed with fresh cotton. (this will only take 5-10% of the total use of a woven cotton fabric). For the sustainability of the recycled cotton 53% less energy, 99% less water and 88% less chemicals are needed. After wearing the clothes the consumer can return the clothes to the Adapt Denim stores. Adapt Denim will take care of recycling the old clothes. The recycled clothes are used one more time for new recycled clothes. In de production process 5 % new cotton will be add to the fabric, that way it doesnt loose their originally strength. Adapt Denim makes sure that the clothes (when these clothes are brought back one last time) will be recycled and that the fibres are used as insulation materials. - Fabricating the garments - Consumer wears the garment Clothing will be dismantled in factories- Fabricating the garments - Clothing will be dismantled in factories Continues processing in insulation material - Insulating material goes into homes and also provides as energy savings. cradle to cradle process. Adapt Denim is a sustainable brand, therefore they will use recycled fabrics, like wool, polyester and cotton. Fabrics which are recyclable and better for the environment. Adapt Denim will participate to a durable future, without lacking on design, comfort or quality, Most of the tops will be made of wool. This will be recycled wool, it will be recycled by special equipment. The biological wool can be used as heat isulation for houses. This wool has a life span of 100 years. It is air purifying and the fibres dont irritate the skin. The difference between normal wool and biological wool, is that in the production process synthetic resources will be avoided.

Adapt Denim Page 13

intensive, but an advantage is that all the dye processes are environmentally friendly. Tight plant The colors of the tight plant can be form light pink to dark red. This plant contiants more than 25 colour substances. The colours of the plant binds better with metal salts, but Adapt Denim doesnt use heavy metals, but only alu mand iron. Indigo The proces to get the indigo colour from the indigo plant is harder than by other plants. The leaves have to lie in the full sun in a tank of water. After a while the leaves give the colour blue and the water in the tank will be blue. After the dry process you can work with the colour. With this process Adapt Denim can dye their collection without chemicals. Cochenille This are shield lices who live on a cactus. The women lices delivers the organic pigment carmine. They give the colours cool pink until dark red. Wouw This dye process is the most intensive from all these plants. In this process the whole plant and seeds has to dry and be grind for all kinds of yellow pigments. Gala apples This plants give all kind of different colors of brown. They give can give very strong colors. Squid ink is the solution for the color black. Adapt Denim has a lot of natural colors in their collection. Black is an important color. Squid ink is also a environmentally friendly dye process.

Biological wool will be washed in biological degradable detergent in this process chemicals will not be used. Some tops will be made of cotton (single jersey), the production process of the fabric will be the same as the jeans. There will be used less art manure and pesticides. As last Adapt Denim will use polyester. This recyclable process will be in a chemical way. The chemicals will demolish the polymerics in the molecular parts, so it can be transformed in yarns which are as strong and have the same quality as the original ones. Advantages of recycled polyester is that they are less dependant of oil and there will be less air, water and ground pollution. You also need less energy in the process of recycling the polyester. Dyestuffs. There are a few plants that Adapt Denim uses in the dyestuff process. With this plants it is possible to color with the natural color of the plants. These plants are: indigo, tight, cochineal, wouw and gala apples. A disadvantage is that is hard to control the colours and it is more labour

Finishes In our collection we use two different finishes. The first finish is the waterproof finish. In the Casual Outdoor line we have a few coats and bottoms which as to have a waterproof finish. This finish will be applied by a hydrophobic treatment. By this treatment, the fabric loses a part of its durability during the washing or by the chemical finish. Through the fabric pores with the film-forming composition to fill it or by the individual fibers is created to fill the water repellent system. We try as much as possible to proceed durable with this finish and to reduce the loss of the durability of the fabric. In the future we want to improve the waterproof finish to be more sustainable. Factories Adapt Denim will produce their fabrics in Istanbul, the same city as the production of the clothes. The name of the factory is Berra Tekstil. They are specialized in knits. In this factory the fabrics will be packaged and brought by trucks to YEW factory located in Istanbul where the clothes will be made. We also have one factory in China who will produce our basics. They also produce the fabrics needed to produce the basics. Quality The prices of the clothes of Adapt Denim are high. This is because the production of the fabrics and expensive technique used in the garments. We only use the best sustainable fabrics and have a special technique in the clothes which is expensive. The clothes feel and look as the high quality that they are.

The recycled jeans are special, because normally when jeans are recycled they loose their strength, but the jeans of Adapt Denim have 5% fresh cotton. In this way they keep their originally strength. Especially for the Casual Outdoor line wool is used. The buyer must be able to move easily in the clothes. Pure wool has a natural elasticity. The moisture absorbency makes the body to breathe and never will have clammy and uncomfortable feeling. Wool insulates well by natural air layer. The technique in the clothes is also high quality. The consumer will never be to warm or to cold, because by the H-bomb the garment will adapt to the temperature of the environment. Another quality is the reversible technique. The consumer can easily change their look by a different side of the garment. If the technique doesnt work as it has to, the consumer can return the garment to one of the Adapt Denim stores and get a new article or their money back. This will not happen, because Adapt Denim guarantees that the technique will work and controls al the garment.

Packaging The clothes will be packaged in de Yew factory in Turkey and in MikkaWorks factory in China. Adapt Denims tries to minimize the waste and use of fewer resources with product and transport packaging. Adapt Denim uses some sustainable guidelines with product packaging, the guidelines cover the entire packaging chain form raw materials to production and end-of-life. Some important guidelines are: Keeping the amount of material in our packaging to a minimum without compromising its function Using recycled materials Using material from certified sources, such as FSC-certified paper and board Using single materials and avoiding mixing materials, such as laminates or stickers, to improve recyclability. Choosing standard packaging shapes to minimise waste in production Designing packaging to optimise space-use making it more efficient to transport Making packaging easy to separate so that it can easily be recycled or reused. The transport packaging Adapt Denim triest to minimize the use of single garment packaging when transporting products from producers to the stores. The transport boxes that they use are reusable and they are sent back to the factory where they are needed again. With these two actions Adapt Denim has almost eliminated wast from transport packaging ending up in our stores. ISO - The ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) has released a new standard for care labelling. ISO 3758:2012, Textiles Care labelling code using symbols is said to provide helpful information that can save people time and money. The updated standard also reflects current cleansing practices including technical developments, new bleaching systems, and the alternative to conventional dry cleaning using aqueous systems.

Sales Forcast
Becasue of a good marketing plan and good preparation, we expect to have a good sales in the in the first year of the company existing. This is because Adapt Denim clearly is a brand who is offering products like no other clothing brand has offered before. These unique features our garments offer, are so unique en innovative that it will draw a lot of attention to Adapt Denim. In the second year we expect sales growth of 10%, and in the third year, we expect the same approximately growth. Our SALE period will take place in May and December, this will be 20 percent off the original sales price. Due the discount on our garments during the SALE we expect our sales to increase during that period. For predicting the distribution and sales we have worked with indices. We used indices to predict our Sales, this means for example, that in a month like December there will be more sold due the SALE and the holidays. This will be a lot more than in November for example that is commonly known as a more poorer month in retail. For a detailed description of the sales forecast, see the appendices.

C.M.T
Calculation & Explonation For the production of our jeans we took a average to calculate the production of our collection. The reason we choose to work with an avarage is beacause our collection contains 2 seperate lines. One line will contain the h-bomb wich regulates the warmth and cold through clothing. The other line has the reversible technique in it. To take the extra working time for each technique in consideration we added a few sams to the standard given SAMS for producing one basic jeans. We are aware that it takes longer for the producers to produce a jeans with a technique. So for jeans with the H-bomb we will add 2 minutes an for the revirseble we will add 3 extra minutes. The tops will be done with the given standard SAMS. Because the tops are quikly made and there are no special things that need to be added. But for the tops there is another machine on which the tops will be produced. Jeans Bellow we will give a calculation of the average given C.M.T to get as close as possible to the realistic costs for a production. First off all we will calculate the C.M.T for 1 pair of jeans. C.M.T 5 pocket jeans 90 a month. C.M.T 5 pocket jeans revirseble: 17 C.M.T 5 pocket jeans H-bomb: 18 SAM 5 pocket jeans: 12 to 17 minutes 14 minutes is avarage. 14 * 1000 to go from minutes to SAMS. 14 x 1000 = 14.000 (+10% CUT) 14.140 14.140 : 100 = 141.4 * 0,19 = 28.86 (0,19 is costs per sam in turkey) 28.86 / 100 * 25 = 6.71 (75% productivity in turkey) 28.86 + 6.71 = 35.57 C.M.T for one jeans When we want to calculate for a month we multiply the C.M.T for one jeans, wich is 35.57 by 90. We will come to the amount of 3201.30 C.M.T for a production of 90 pair of jeans for one month. Hoodies & knitwear The given minutes for hoodies and knitwear also depends on wich technique will be added or if the hoodies or knitted sweater have a special design given to it. Although they are knitted we will still add the 10% cut to it because the parts will be delivered in a content that they are ready to be sewed together. But it is important to add the time that it has cost to make the knitted parts. It is hard to make a calculation with sams for knitted pieces but we want to see how much it would take to produce the whole collection. SAM Hoodies: 15 19 minutes , the avarage is 17 minutes. We multiply 17 with 1000 to get the sams = 17.000 17.000 + 10% CUT = 187.000 187.000 : 100 = 187 * 0.19 (costs per sam in Turkey) 35.53 35.53 / 100 * 25= 8.88 (productivity in Turkey is 75%) 35.53 + 8.88 = 44.41 C.M.T for one hoodie We will be producing 140 hoodies a month. 140 * 44.41 = 6217.75 C.M.T per month

Jackets The jackets we have in our collection are the most expensive articles we have. The minutes also depends on the technique the jacket has. We take a avarage to calculate the estimated time for a jacket.

Jackets We multiply 65 by 1000 to get the sams = 65.000

SAM jacket: 60 70 minutes the avarage will be 65 minutes

The jackets we have in our collection are the most expensive articles we have. The minutes also 65.000 + 10% CUT = 71.500 depends on the technique the jacket has. We take a avarage to calculate the estimated time for a jacket. 71.500 : 100 = 715 * 0,19 (costs per sam in Turkey) 135.85 135.85 /70 100 * 25the (productivity SAM jacket: 60 minutes avarage will bein 65Turkey minutes is 75%) 33.96 135.85 + 33.96 169.81 per jacket. We will make 18 jackets per We multiply 65 by 1000 to= get the sams = 65.000 65.000month + 10% CUT = that 71.500 so wil be 18* 169.81 = 3056.62 C.M.T per month 71.500 : 100 = 715 * 0,19 (costs per sam in Turkey) 135.85 135.85 / 100 * 25 (productivity in Turkey is 75%) 33.96 So to conclude and add all the costs of making our collection 135.85 + 33.96 = 169.81 per jacket. We will make 18 jackets per month so that wil be 18* 169.81 = per mont together we can calculate the costs for a year. So in 3056.62 C.M.T per month

a overview we can see our costs for the C.M.T. Because we use RM forand our basic we didns include per the tops in our C.M.T So to conclude add all thetops costs of maken our collection mont together we can calculate the costs for a year. So in a overvieuw we can see our costs for the C.M.T. Because we make use of RM calculation.
for our basic tops we didns include the tops in our C.M.T calculation.

Resource Management
For our basic tops, we have made the choice to use MikkaWorks, a Chinese based manufacturer and supplier, as our manufacturer. They use their own high quality fabrics for producing basics. Our Chinese manufacturer tries to be as sustainable as possible and only works with sustainable fabrics. They also produce their own sustainable fabrics, including high quality fabrics made of recycled cotton, recycled polyester and fabrics made of organic cotton . Normally its very hard to let a manufacturer source sustainable fabrics. With all the knowledge of MikkaWorks in mind it is easy for us to let them choose the fabrics because of their sustainable vision on producing. Thats why it was easy for us to let them choose the fabrics for production. The process of using a companys resources is one of the most efficient way possible to do your production process. By using the companys fabrics and let them manufacture it, we are able to keep the production process for our basic tops on one place. This will speed up the production process. Next to that we are able to get a better price since we use a big amount of their services. This will lower our production costs and increase our profit.

General Instruction
The expectations we set for our producer is that everything is delivered in a sustainable way. This means we not only incorporate sustainability into our fabrics from which we produce our garments, but also to our label, for labeling our garments, the way our goods will be delivered and the packaging. The goods must be delivered in recyclable transportboxes, which can be reused. Because our fashion items and fashion basics are high quality goods, we want the clothes to be delivered hanging. Except for our basics. We decided to lower our quality expectation a bit for the basics. The basics will be produced in large volumes, making it too expensive to be shipped hanging, thats why our basics may be delivered in boxes and plastic bags. Each garment has to have a brand logo in the neck. To these logos, a price tag must be attached using a recycled plastic attachment. The price tag, with all the information needed for the garment, is made from recycled paper. These tags must remain on the garments after delivering the garments. The tags will remain on the garments in the shop, ready for sale. That way we dont have to use new ones for production or the store only, making us use less tags and therefor paper. responsability When items have been broken during delivery, 2% of the costs are for our account. The rest of the costs lies with the supplier because their job is to deliver the goods as well and neatly as possible to us. This goes for damages caused by transport or by acts performed during transportation, objects or the supplier self. Also dirt on clothing, stains and water damage caused during transport are for the supplier. Wrong manufacturing and discoloration are for the account of the producers.

Risk analyses
to sustainability but also the working conditions. We thought about the long term cooperation and our employees working at the factorys. We find it very important that the employees are surrounded in a good working environment because of their health. When health is infected it can cause a delay in our productionchain. When the factorys cant come to terms with our demands we will choose a different kind of manufacturer. Aslo if factorys have a lot of noise in the working enviroment from the machines or there are many chemicals present that influence health, measurements will have to be taken to prevent, to protect workers from illness and unwanted sickness. Its a big priority to avoid the high risk of people getting sick. At the moment there is a uneasiness between Turkey and Syri, This may delay the delivery of the goods. the fabrics are under attack and possibly the employes are not Thats why Adapt Denim already looks at the factory and the able to work. With this in mind we have to concider a second potential risks to avoid any delay in the production process. manufacturer. At this uncertan time of economic crisis there is alot of anxiety within the group of consumers. The consumer expects alot of quality of the products they buy. So its important to set rules with production so there is no room for error. We need to account somebody responsible for the outcome of the produced pieces, and there is a contract that needs to be signed. When things arent clear or arent agreed to there is a dissbalance. So to make everything clear we set up a contract with all the rules that are related to the production side. There is a maximum tollerance for flaunts in production. That will be 5% of a whole productionchain. When its above the 5% costs are for our manufacturer. In this way we have our costs covered in case production fails to extend to our demands. While chosing the manufacturers weve checked the relation The country in which we will produce our main part of the collection is Turkey. The basics will be produced in China. The produced articels will be shipped by truck. When the order is delayed or does not arrive at all we need to take custom arrangements with the manufacturer. In this case Yew in Turkey. When an order is delayed it is going to cost Adapt Denim money in relation to sales. Thats something you must avoid as a starting company. When a order is delayed for a longer period of time we have to get the order by plane, and all the costs will be for Yew. We will only pay the original agreed costs. This way we wont lose money on shipments when they go wrong.
