When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, Who then can be saved?

Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:25-36

Back To The US And A Lot More!!

We hope you are well. We have been so blessed by you all! Even though we are far away, we are drawn close to you, brothers and sisters in Christ, through your prayer, support, and encouraging words. We will be visiting Cha Am one last time this June before returning to California. It lifts our spirits to visit with our Thai brother and sister in Cha Am. Each time we visit Cha Am, we always feel a passion burning in us to return quickly and are reassured this is our hearts desire. We are so thankful that God has provided several short-term missionaries to help in Cha Am. This has lightened the burden for Pastor Ang and Orn serving in Cha Am alone. The believers in Cha Am now total 6: the two Thai missionaries, two adult women, and two young girls (all from separate families). For a while the mother of one of the girls was coming and professed to be a Christian, but they realized she did this out of guilt, thinking she should convert out of thankfulness for their contribution to her new business. Please pray with us

Kamryn had her 3rd birthday this week and Penelope is now 6 months old! They are getting along well and It is such a joy to see them play and make each other laugh. We can't wait until Penny is old enough to really interact with Kamryn. We can already see their personalities are a perfect fit for each other! What a blessing and answer to prayer, as a sister might be the only friend as we move back and forth across the world. We also praise God for His faithfulness to be working in Kamryn's heart. She is interested in the Bible, has memorized several verses, and has shown a desire to love God and pray for others. Please pray with us for Kamryn's and Penelope's salvation in the Lord.

us that the Gospel would go out in Cha Am in the power of the Holy Spirit, that true repentance and new life would be born into the hearts of the many lost in Cha Am. God is moving! There is a small Christian presence now and we pray that the overflow of the Spirit would reach to others. We also pray for the maturity of these believers, that their light would shine before others so they can see their good deeds and praise the Father in heaven. We will be returning to California June 15! We are excited to spend time with family and friends, though it is bittersweet to move our family again. Kamryn will be saying goodbye to her best friend Saffron and we are not sure about what this next year will look like for her. Please keep her in your prayers, that we could find playmates her age. We have not yet secured a place to stay in Southern California. If you know of anyone that would be willing to rent a small place to us for a low price please let us know. We minimally need a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a bed. Please pray that something would open up for us. We are thankful that a car has been provided for us to use for the summer! We will need a car to use in August. Soon after we return in June we will have our oral theological exam with key leaders from ABWE and our sending church, Whittier Hills. Please pray for this nerve-racking event that we have to prepare for and really know our stuff! July will be a busy month for us. We will spend 3 weeks attending ABWE's new missionary trainings, conferences, and be officially appointed to ABWE and Thailand. We hope to spend time with you while we are in California. Please let us know if you would like to get together! If were not already connected to your church, we would love to visit and meet new churches. We are excited to share about what God is doing in missions around the world and in Thailand, and we would love the opportunity to share about the power of the Gospel as it goes out in Asia.

PRAYER REQUESTS

We still need a place to stay, preferably our own place. Our adjustment back to the US, especially for Kamryn and Penny. The harvest would be ripe in Cha Am. Strength for Pastor ang and On as they wait for people to join them. The believers in Cha Am and their maturity in Christ.
