Dear all National Law University, Jodhpur is due to host its biennial sports fest, Yuvardha in the upcoming fall semester, 2013. We have tentatively decided to hold Yuvardha-III from September 26, 2013 to September 29, 2013. We have come a long way since the inaugural edition of Yuvardha in 2009 and intend to make it bigger and better than ever before. It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to be a part of our university for a four day long sporting extravaganza and help us make Yuvardha-III a success. Unparalleled Sporting Experience

The most competitive inter law school sports fest in the country with an estimated participation from more than 50 colleges. It will be the most professional inter law school sports fest (yes, there will be ample referees, visible scoreboards and no host students keeping time in a home game for a change).

o Notably, we want to give all the participants a fulfilling experience and not leave their competitive campaigns at the mercy of biased hosts or lottery picks. Which is why, for the first time ever in law school sports fest history, we will be incorporating a seeding round (thus, no first round match up will be an elimination round). o Furthermore, in the interest of transparency, the draws will be pre-declared and not kept covert for the host team to slyly avoid more competitive teams in the tournament. o No host student will take any part in refereeing, time keeping or any other incidental activity which may have a bearing on fairness, in the host teams match. Unlike most other sports fests, besides team events, we will also have individual events. For example, in addition to the Badminton team event, we propose to have separate single, doubles, and mixed doubles as well. Exciting informal events such as the 3-point party, arm wrestling amongst many others.

Hospitality and Socials

We are known for our hospitality and commitment towards making you feel welcome on our campus and will try to make this more than just a fest for you. (A personal contingent incharge shall be appointed exclusively for you for any and all your needs during your stay in Jodhpur). Thrilling Opening and Closing ceremonies (suit up!). Yuvardha-After-Party (Nuff said).

The wonderful Sun City

The sun city of Jodhpur offers you its share of adventure sports with the Flying Fox, the zipline tour at the breath-taking Mehrangarh Fort (where The Dark Knight Rises was shot.

Remember? Bruce Wayne rises from the pit and stares at a fort? Yeah; thats us, right here).
To experience the mystical desert dunes, Osian, near Jodhpur, is truly one in itself (before

going there, be careful to take off your shoes, and carry what-rhymes-with-shoes ;-) ).
The famous Omelette Shop, Balsamand Lake Palace, Pal Haveli, are just a few of the exquisite dining options to pamper your taste buds.

Please e-mail us at sports.nluj@gmail.com indicating the following: Acknowledgment of receipt of this pre-invite stating that you are the relevant authority or individual for co-ordinating participation in sports fests from your university; o In the alternative, please provide us the contact details of the relevant authority or individual; Whether the proposed dates are suitable for your participation in Yuvardha-III (we are willing to consider reasonable rescheduling of the fest if a lot of colleges are eager to participate but would find it difficult to do so during the proposed dates); Any other queries or suggestions that you might have at this stage.

We will be sending a formal invite shortly, whereby each participating college will have to submit the relevant registration details. Until then, start training; Yuvardha-III is coming soon.
