Hafa Adai SIM Members, The months of March and April kept SIM members busy and on the go. On March 8, 2013 SIM collaborated with SIG during the annual Soroptimist Charter Night held at the Sheraton Hotel. Congratulations to SIM member Mona McManus who did an outstanding job chairing this event from beginning to end, which is no easy task given the amount of hours and work put into such an event from disseminating applications, coordinating the judging, and bringing the event together at Charter Night in celebration of Womens History Month. Did I mention that this is Monas first year with SIM? Thank You Mona for your passion and your energy!!! SIM presented $1000 checks to award recipients to the following: Guam Community College, University of Guam, Pacific Island University, Womans Opportunity Award and Violet Richardson Award.
