Community Defense
The only way our communities can stop the continuous brutality, racism, murder and repression by this system is to establish a revolutionary form of self defense within the community. We must organize self-defense units to protect our community and its revolutionary organizations from the state's police forces who are occupying our communities. We must train, and become active with our communities in self defense as we cannot rely on the system to protect us from it's own brutality, murder and corruption. We pursue militancy as an appropriate strategy for self defense. We do not rely on the state, nor it's factions within the system to deliver an acceptable form of justice. The only way to get justice is to make justice. We must rely on eachother as the power of our communities to defend ourselves by any means necessary at any given time. We will not force the way we wish to live on others, but we will defend our way of life with ferocity.
The purpose for the Community Defense Program is to establish a revolutionary form of self-defense within the community. The Community Defense Program consists of several operations initiated throughout the community.
Zone Defense Units are an advancement of Cop Watch. Instead of waiting after police violate an individuals rights to take action, zone defense sees to intervene before-hand preventing this from happening. Defense Units are often deployed in neighborhoods that experience heavy police repression. These units often remain idle within specific areas on "tactical alert" to safe guard the community. Every time police breech designated defense zones, they are immediately documented and followed. Any type of police repression is immediately confronted as well as documented by defense units.
Cop Watch
Cop Watch is a program where people patrol the streets with video cameras ready to document police activity whenever it occurs. The purpose for this is to document police every time they make a stop. If police begin to harass or brutalize civilians, it is caught on film. Cop Watch also sees to notify civilians of their rights to educate them on the brutality and injustice of this system, and how to deal with such situations.
