We will be bag packing and doing bucket collection on the weekend of 21st - 23rd June in the following Marks and Spencer Stores - Mary Street, Grafton Street, Dundrum, Liffey Valley, Blanchardstown Where: Grafton Street, Dublin 2 When: weekend of 21st - 23rd June Role: COMMUNICATIONS VOLUNTEER/PLACEMENT - Depaul Ireland What's Involved? The upcoming year is shaping up to be a busy year for Depaul Ireland's fundraising and communications team, so your role will be varied. *The main aim of your role will be to work alongside and support the Communications Coordinator in developing Depaul Irelands Communications and work to communicate the message of the organisation to a wider audience. *They will also assist with the organisation and delivery of communications activities including events, campaigns, direct marketing, external relationship building and some corporate projects. Where: Christchurch, Dublin 8 When: 20 hours a week for three months Role: Volunteer Coordinator Internship - Volunteer Ireland What's Involved? Volunteer Ireland are managing and coordinating The Gathering 2013 Volunteer Programme on behalf of Failte Ireland, in 5 towns and cities across the country. The Volunteer Coordination/Management Intern will play a key role in organising The Gathering Volunteer Programme and assisting supporting the office. The aim of the internship is to provide valuable insight and experience in volunteer recruitment, co-ordination, and management. Where: Temple Bar, Dublin 2 When: 2 days a week for three months Role: Third Saturday SERVE Day - Serve the City What's Involved: As a volunteer-led community initiative, the aim of Serve the City is simply to meet the practical needs of people in our community and to promote community-wide volunteerism. By painting a house, clearing an overgrown garden, or sitting down for a visit with the elderly, we are making Dublin a better place to live - one act of kindness at a time. Serve Days take place on the third Saturday of every month. The events core teams are responsible for assisting the events director in creating amazing events during Dublin Pride Festival 2013 (21st 30th June 2013) as well as creating and implementing productive fundraising events throughout the whole year starting in January 2013.
