Aims:

Procedure 1. Playthefirsttwolinesofconversationfromthesampletask.Thenaskstudentswho thespeakersareandwhattheythinkthecontextis. 2. Studentsworkinpairstothinkofalternativewaysofexpressingeachtypeofhotel: e.g.ahotelinaruralareacouldbeacountrysidehotelahotelsurroundedbyhills ahotel10milesfromthenearesttown. 4.
