Re-Designed Spring Actuated A2 Back Up Iron Sight

Quicker Action & Less Expensive

In an effort to keep improving our product line, we have re-designed our A2 Spring Actuated BUIS (Back Up Iron Sight). Not only is the action quicker, it still has all of the benefits of the original and is less expensive too! Just like the original, the A2 Spring Actuated BUIS provides the operator with an easy-to-install push button operated AR-15 flip up rear sight. The A2 sight stem not only springs into an on target position with just the push of the actuator button, but it also locks solidly into the upright on-target position. Another push of the button and the lock is released allowing you to set the A2 sight into the locked down position. The sight cannot be folded down without depressing the actuator button located on the left side of the sight base. This totally eliminates the possibility of accidentally lowering the sight. Equipped with the GG&G tactile grip windage knob, adjustments are easy and precise. The Spring Actuated A2 BUIS can be used as a stand-alone sight or in conjunction with one of our interface rails. It can also be used as a co-witness iron sight with most red dot sighting systems. Weighing in at under 2.4 ounces, it features the standard military A2-style double peep aperture which allows for end user known point of impact. No need to retrain with this aperture. The sight has a full range of windage adjustment. One click of the windage knob provides approximately 0.48 MOA change when mounted on the M16A2E4 rifle and about 0.65 MOA on the M4 carbine. Initial zero is set by adjusting the weapons front sight post. It is low profile so that when in the down position, it will clear most optics. With its enhanced features, we think it is superior to the standard factory Benelli safety. This new safety will fit the Benelli M1, M2, M3, and M4 Tactical Shotguns. The Aimpoint Twist Lock Base was originally designed to provide a quick release base for The Aimpoint 3X power magnifier. There is no doubt that it is a sturdy and combat proven system. Our New Product Development Team thought it would be great for those individuals that have this system, to also have the flexibility to mount an ITT PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular behind the optic utilizing the same Aimpoint QD Twist Lock Base. Our team came up with a unique ring adapter that easily attaches to the ITT PVS-14 and quickly mounts directly to the Aimpoint QD Twist Lock Base. The new GG&G PVS-14 Mounting Ring engages the Aimpoint Base in the same manner as the Aimpoint 3X power magnifier, and provides a solid mounting platform for the night vision monocular. The end user can now go from no magnification, 3X power magnification, or night vision without having to remove the Aimpoint base. The GG&G PVS-14 Mounting Ring provides the correct height to co-align with the Aimpoint Comp Series of optics when mounted in both GG&G Aimpoint Cantilever Rings as well as when mounted in the Aimpoint QRP Ring with spacer. Developed in 1983, it has been refined ever since, now offering a higher quality than ever. All Wilderness Tactical Duty Belts are manufactured in the USA with only the highest quality components. The high quality Wilderness tactical belts have also proven to be a fantastic everyday pants belt for casual or outdoor use, as well as concealed carry. GG&G offers the 5 stitch 1 1/2" wide model. It is our favorite and the most popular. The belt offers two additional stitch lines along the length of the belt over the original version which significantly stiffens it and enhances load bearing. It's vertical rigidity is similar to a high-quality leather gunbelt, yet it is horizontally and rotationally flexible for comfort. We think this is the best one for most guncarrying operations, both inside-the-pants and belt holsters. We offer them in Black and Coyote. Besides being incredibly strong, it is equipped with a specially designed carbon steel V-ring buckle coated with non-glare black Roguard, a tough mil-spec finish which is highly corrosion-resistant and will not chip like cheaper coatings. The belt was originally designed to clip into a secure system while "instructing" others in high places during mountain rescue training, although they can be used for emergency rappelling with proper training, they are not intended to replace a rappelling harness or to absorb a fall. This duty belt is not intended to replace a standard rappelling harness with leg straps in normal operations. It is intended as an emergency option to clip into when there is a risk of falling, or for emergency rappelling when no other option is available. It will be very uncomfortable to rappel with, but it may save your life which is what we intended.
