Folienkondensatoren sind metallisierte Kunststoff-Kondensatoren mit einer fast unbegrenzten Selbstheilfhigkeit. Kurzschlsse sind damit weitgehend ausgeschlossen. Sie verfgen ber eine hohe Impuls- und Wechselspannungsbelastbarkeit. Einsatzgebiete sind z. B: Mobiltelefon, TV, Kfz, PC und Lampenvorschaltgerte.

Metallized film capacitors have almost unlimited self-healing capability. Short circuits are thus largely nonexistent. They exhibit high pulse handlig and ripple current capability. Typical applications are mobile phones, television, automobiles, PCs and lamp ballasts.
