Fond du Lac families, an Internet connection was established for Rosita via satellite. This instantaneously opened a new world of communication and unlimited sources of knowledge for the Rosita community. Since that time, a cable connection through the private phone company, Enitel, has been completed. Wireless phones are now seen everywhere. Through the subsidiary, Turbonet, Arely Garcia, the UHH representative in Rosita, utilizes a wireless connection with her laptop. The Santa RosaSchool computer laboratory, for a variety of reasons, presently is not functioning. The plan now is to upgrade the lab with new computers and establish broadband wireless connections.
