WORD OF LIFE HUNGARY Prayer Requests

Pray for our alumni who are serving the Lord throughout the world. Pray for Paul as he continues his modular Ph.D. studies with Baptist Bible Seminary. Pray for the many tasks that must be completed before summer camp begins. Pray for the campers who will hear the gospel for the very first time. Pray for the students as they complete their summer ministries across the world. Pray for spiritual revival in Hungary. Less than 3% of the population are believers. Please pray for our personal support. We have dropped to 80% because of a new law requiring us to pay Hungarian social security in addition to our US social security.

Great is Thy Faithfulness!

May 4, 2013 was a very exciting day for Word of Life Hungary: the dedication of the newly renovated solarium and water tower, and the highly anticipated installation our very first Hungarian Field Director, Csiks Gbor. In addition, we also celebrated Pauls installation as the Associate Director of WOL Hungary. Guests came from all over the world to celebrate this monumental day with us, including the leaders of WOL International, old friends of the ministry, past colleagues, alumni, and even Jills mom! It was truly a day to celebrate Gods faithfulness. Please pray for Gbor and Paul as they work together to take WOLH into a new era of ministry and service for our Lord. A lot of responsibility lies on their shoulders!

Weaver Update: June 2013

Graduation 2013

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 1:6 Another school year has come and gone. On June 1st we celebrated the 18th graduation ceremony of the Word of Life Hungary Bible Institute. This year we had 64 students from nine different countries, including Hungary, the United States, Canada, Germany, Slovakia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Poland, and Brazil. Graduation day was an emotional experience, as the students said good-bye to their close friends, while looking forward in anticipation to their future ministries. It is exciting to think about the amazing ways the Lord will use these students in the future. Many will go back to their home countries and enter the ministry. Please pray for these graduates as they begin a lifetime of faithful service for our Lord!

Camp is coming!
Camp season starts in just one week! Please be in prayer for the many preparations and tasks that must be accomplished before summer camp starts. Most of all, please pray that the Lord would prepare the campers hearts to hear the gospel and respond in faith. Nearly 1,000 children and teenagers will join us this summer, many of which are not believers. What an exciting opportunity we have to reach Hungary for Christ! Paul and Jill will be serving as volleyball coaches this summer. Better start the conditioning now!
