Head to the kitchen and grab an apron. We are going to make some of our own beauty products for masks, cleansers, potpourri, silky soaps and bath products and the nice thing about them... they are all homemade. Honey - for Natural Beauty Recipes Honey can be used for many different beauty recipes and natural remedies. Here are some ideas to use honey in your beauty care regimen. Massage well and rinse with lukewarm water and enjoy the sensation of an all different skin. - Open the pores on your face by place a cloth dipped in warm water. Smear honey on your face for 20-30 minutes. Rinse first with warm water and then cold water to close the pores. - Indulge your skin with the paste of 1 tsp of honey, 1 egg white, 1 tsp glycerin and flour. Smooth it over your face, throat, leaving it on for 10 minutes and then washing it off with warm water. Your skin will feel refreshed and rejuvenated. - 4 tbsp of whole milk powder and 2 tbsp of honey make an excellent baby bath.

Olive Oil - Natural Beauty Remedies Olive Oil can be used for many different beauty recipes and natural remedies. Here are some ideas to use olive oil in your beauty care regimen. Men: Shave with it. It's less drying than shaving cream filled with alcohol and preservatives. Hair: If your hair is dry, dry, dry, then do an oil treatment with olive oil. Baldness: Some people believe rubbing olive oil on your head every day prevents baldness. My grandfather did this for years and was bald as he could possibly be, so I'm not so sure this one works. Salt Scrub: Mix it with salt and rub it on your skin. Dry feet: Cover your feet with olive oil before bed. Be sure to put clean socks on over them to help the oil soak in. Eye Makeup Remover: Olive oil is excellent for removing mascara, even better than petroleum jelly or baby oil and will be beneficial to the skin around your eyes. Yogurt Cucumber Parsley Facial Mask: Homemade Spa recipe for a creamy facial mask that leaves your skin soft and refreshed. Ingredients: 1 Tbsp. plain yogurt, 1 Tbsp. cucumber, 1 Tbsp. parsley. Directions: Puree the cucumber and parsley finely and mix with the yogurt until smooth. Clean your face with a gentle Cleanser. Cover your face with this creamy mask. This will rejuvenate your skin as it moistens. Leave the mask on for approximately 15-20 minutes for best results. Rinse with water. Follow with your favorite Moisturizer. Orange Yogurt Mask: 1 tsp plain yogurt, 1 tsp fresh orange juice. Combine the yogurt and juice. Apply the mixture to your face. Rinse with plenty of warm water after 5 min.

Aloe Vera Lip Gloss Recipe: Homemade Recipe for lip gloss made with Aloe Vera that will leave your lips soft and moisturized. Ingredients: 1 tsp. Aloe Vera gel, 1/2 tsp. coconut oil, 1 tsp. petroleum jelly Directions: Combine the ingredients in a small glass bowl until well mixed. Heat for about 2 minutes in the microwave. Stir and pour into a small container. Let cool completely before use. Homemade Shampoo Recipe Natural Shampoo: 1 oz. Olive oil, 1 egg, 1 Tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until well combined. Use like regular shampoo. Discard any leftovers. Homemade Conditioner Recipe Natural Conditioner: 1 egg yolk. 1/2 tsp olive oil, 3/4 cup lukewarm water. Beat the egg yolk until it's thick and white. Add the oil and mix well. Then add the water into the egg mixture and mix well. Massage into clean, damp hair. Rinse with plenty of warm water after about 10 minutes. Lemon Hair Spray: This all natural hair spray will leave your hair with a light, fresh lemony scent. 1 lemon, 2 cups of water Cut the lemon over a glass bowl to catch the juice. Add the lemon pieces and the water to the bowl and set the bowl in a pot of simmering water. Simmer until the lemon water mixture has been reduced by half. Pour it through a piece of cheesecloth to strain out the lemon pieces. Let the liquid cool, and then transfer it to a clean spray bottle. The hair spray will keep for up to a week in the fridge. Honey Lemon Sugar Scrub: Homemade scrub recipe for a honey and lemon sugar scrub that gently exfoliates your skin. Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup sweet almond oil, 4 teaspoons lemon juice, 4 Tablespoons honey, 4 drops lemon essential oil Directions: To make the sugar scrub, combine the sugar and sweet almond oil in a large bowl and stir well to combine. Add the lemon juice and stir again. Finally, add the honey and lemon essential oil and stir again to mix. Mint and Rosemary Mouthwash: 2 1/2 cups distilled or mineral water, 1 tsp fresh mint leaves, 1 tsp rosemary leaves, 1 tsp anise seeds. Bring the water to a boil. Add herbs and seeds, infuse for 20 minutes. Cool, strain and use as a gargle/mouthwash
