university education as a preliminary data collection for my research project. The information you provide will be helpful for me to finalize the scope of the definition for the 'collaborative e-learning' and to categorize the factors affecting the collaborative e-learning. 1. What is collaborative e-learning in your point of view? Do you practice this in your learning? If yes, to what extent?

2. What are the factors affect the collaborative e-learning? Why do you think these factors are important? 3. E-learning tools can be categorized into 2 as given below. Production tool: can be used during the design and development phase. (Eg. Authoring tool, content management system, audio editing tool, video editing tool, graphic tool, animation tool, simulation tool, etc) Learning tool: can be used during the delivery of the learning process. 10. Current Sri Lankan university students are no longer interested in pure traditional face-to-face teaching. They want to include blended teaching approaches such as the mixture of traditional face to face teaching and collaborative e-learning approaches in their courses.
