PREFACE

A project report is the very important part of any management programme It is a launch pad for introducing students to a real-life scenario of ethnic footwear industry, which cannot be simulated in the classroom. It not only enables the student to apply the theoretical knowledge in a practical scenario but also enables them to learn things beyond books. Only academic knowledge is not enough for the students, it is also necessary for them to have a slice of the practical corporate world wherein they can apply their knowledge and put their skills to a test. This is a first step towards corporate world. A project report provides an opportunity for students, to satisfy their inquisitiveness to know more details, exposes them to technical skills, and helps them to acquire social skills by drawing them into communication with outside professionals for continuous interaction.
