Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!
The desert tribes will bow before him . . . . All kings will bow down to him and all nations will serve him (Ps 72: 9a, 11).*

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students and Alumni

SOUTH SUDAN: An alumna asks for prayer for her husband, who is currently visiting a refugee camp in South Sudan to give discipleship and church-planting training. He writes: Join us to pray for these training sessions, that the Lord himself would envision the body of Christthe church in this refugee campto reach out to their fellow refugees. The refugee camp offers a window of opportunity of reaching out to the unreached people groups from the Nuba Mountains that are mostly Muslims and animist. These are all living together with the Nuba Christians in [this] refugee camp in South Sudan, having fled their home land. Pray that the Lord will open the minds and hearts of the participants to receive and apply this training. Pray that the Spirit will speak through him as he teaches there and then in Nairobi, Kenya.

In the News
Presidential elections in Iran are being held today. Seven candidates are running. Most are conservative Muslims, and all are loyal to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khameinei, under whom the president serves. Please pray for peaceful elections. Pray that Iranian people, even as they vote, will reflect on their lives and sense a desire for true freedom in their hearts. Pray that they will have divine encounters with God's truth, which alone can set them free.

From Global Initiative**

Pray for the country of Nigeria. Since 2009, the Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram has killed approximately 3,000 Nigerian citizens. Pray especially for schoolchildren who are affected. Nigeria leads all other nations in the percentage of children missing school, and in the north most fear to go to school. As Boko Haram means Western education is forbidden, it is not surprising that the group seeks to close down non-Islamic schools. So far this year at least 14 schools have been burned down in Maiduguri, Boko Haram's headquarters city, alone. Children in the north are taking their exams under guard. Please pray for the protection of these children and for their families. Pray also for churches, who also meet under guard, and that the Lord will touch many through Christians' lives and witness.

For Muslim Women***

Pray for a specific community of Muslim women in a very conservative Asian context. They have a divinely ordained opportunity to witness the love of Christ manifest in the lives of a Christian family there. It is a sensitive death-to-life story that we pray will stir the hearts of precious Muslim women to consider their own heavenward journeys. Please pray Gods anointing upon the Christian family who carry this heavy burden with joy and with an earnest desire to see their Muslim friends come to faith.
