Executive Summary for Graceland, Paraguay

Synopsis
After he's shot, dumped in the trash, found in the dump, mistaken to be a God and healed by a tribe if Indigenous Natives in Paraguay, con man BROCK WALL gets a second chance. In order to repay his debt and save the tribe that saved him, he embarks on the biggest con of his life. He teams up with his double-crossing partner KRISTEN to rip off two billionaire marks they've already ripped off in the past. Brock and Kristen convince billionaires HUNTER and VERONICA to invest in building a city of the future hidden in the jungle of South America for when civilization collapses. The only problem is Veronica has brought on some help, an environmental consultant named TAVIS JOHNSON to make sure everything makes sense. In order to get the project going Brock brings Tavis into the fold, only to discover that while Tavis has a plan for this city of a future, as well as a name for it (Graceland) he doesn't want to share it with a couple of crooks. Brock double crosses Kristen and uses her downfall to allow Tavis more access to Veronica and this puts Hunter, the primary investor in charge. Under the guise of being workers on the construction site, the tribe relocates to a remote space in the jungle of Paraguay. Using the countrys land ownership law, the natives soon become the legal owners of the land. Just as it appears Brock has successfully gotten the tribe a new home, it turns out HUNTER has other ideas: he'd rather kill the tribe and lose more money than walk away. In order to avoid appearing like a monster to Veronica whom he is in love with, Hunter insists the tribe's death not be traceable to him or appear as murder. So that Hunter does not kill them, Brock and Tavis are injected with an updated strain of Bubonic Plague and sent to the Graceland site to infect the natives. Tavis takes the opportunity to double cross Brock and leave him to die with the rest of the natives. However, when Tavis returns to America he learns that the tribe has sunk all the plague infested bodies into the underground aquifer, spoiling the water source. Hunter gives up on Graceland, announces he's selling the land, and fires Tavis. Before Tavis can find a new investor to finance Graceland, Brock's trusted associate FITZ incapacitates Tavis and Brock reveals he has gotten the better of Tavis and was playing him all along.

Executive Summary for Graceland, Paraguay

Comparable Films - Our Strategy

There are very few films that can be compared to Graceland, Paraguay, what we would call a farce comedy with a surprise ending and plenty of overt and subtle societal, political and environmental commentary:

Clerks (1994), a comedy with estimated budget of $230,000, grossed over $3,000,000 at the box office alone (http://blog.koldcast.tv/2010/show-news/the-15-cheapest-movies-that-went-on-to-becomecult-classics/). Oceans Eleven (2001) Danny Ocean wants to score the biggest heist in history. He combines an eleven member team, to rob 3 Vegas casinos at the same time. The budget of $85,000,000 brought in over $183,000,000 in the U.S alone. Wag The Dog (1997) - Before elections, a spin-doctor and a Hollywood producer join efforts to "fabricate" a war in order to cover-up a presidential sex scandal. With an estimated budget of $15,000,000, it grossed over $43,000,000 in the U.S.

Added to this uniqueness is our marketing strategy. To compete in todays film market, we not only need an idea for a new kind of film, but a distinctive marketing campaign to get the film to the masses at a minimal advertising cost. Meet Natures Squirt, a brand of bottled drinking water one of the characters designs within the plot of our film. We have created a full campaign for this product in real life, including the product itself, posters, several commercials and a website. We will release all of this at the same time the film hits distribution. Our goal is to have these commercials for a fake product go viral, which could ultimately lead to large number of film rentals along with Natures Squirt product sales. This not only increases the chance to get a full return on invested money, but could lead to further exponential financial success. Attached on the next page you will see some of what we are working on for the Natures Squirt campaign. By going to the website, www.Natures-Squirt.com, you will see the full marketing campaign, including posters and commercials. The commercials and other items on the website are prominently linked to the film website for Graceland, Paraguay.

Risk Statement
This memorandum is a business plan. It is not an offering for the sale of any securities of this company. It is for your confidential use only and may not be reproduced or redistributed without the prior approval of The Marina Film Company, LLC. Any prospective investor should consult with professional investment advisors for professional legal and tax advice. Each investor specifically understands and agrees that any estimates, projections, revenue models, forecasts or assumptions are by definition uncertain and thus possibly unreliable. Any party considering a transaction with the company agrees to look solely to its own due diligence. Investment in the film industry is speculative and inherently risky. There can be no assurance of the economic success of any motion picture since the revenues derived from the production and distribution of a motion picture depend primarily upon its acceptance by the public, which cannot be predicted. In addition, the theatrical success of a motion picture remains a crucial factor in generating revenues in other media such as DVD and television. The commercial success of a motion picture also depends upon the quality of other competing films released into the marketplace at or near the same time, general economic factors and other tangible and intangible factors, all of which can change and cannot be predicted with certainty. The motion picture industry is continuing to undergo significant changes, primarily due to technological developments. These developments have positive and negative effects on motion pictures -- on the negative side, there are more alternative and competing forms of leisure time entertainment; on the positive side, there are additional revenue sources through the licensing of rights to new media distribution channels. Due to the rapid growth of technology, shifting consumer tastes, and the popularity and availability of other forms of entertainment, it is impossible to predict the overall effect these factors will have on the potential revenue from and profitability of feature-length motion pictures.
