Cable Abbreviations for Needle-Less Technique Sometimes a pattern isnt clear if they mean cross 1 or 2 or 3 or even 4st cross

over, always swatch. C1L (total of 2st are being worked) nd Slip right needle tip into the 2 st on the left needle from the back Slide both sts off the left needle, carefully, slipping the 2nd st onto the right needle at the same time. Insert left needle into the live 1st loop, then slip the st from the right needle back onto the left needle. Knit each st as per usual. C1R (total of 2st are being worked) nd Slip right needle tip into the 2 st on the left needle from the front. Slide both sts off the left needle, carefully, slipping the 2nd st onto the right needle at the same time. Insert left needle into the live 1st loop, then slip the st from the right needle back onto the left needle. Knit each st as per usual. C2L (total of 4st are being worked) rd Slip right needle tip into the 3 and fourth st on the left needle from the back. Insert left needle into the two live sts, then slip the st from the right needle back onto the left needle. Knit each st as per usual.
