The holiday home work should be done as per the instructions given for each subject.
The research material and scrap files to be decorated well and labelled with name, roll
no. with class & section. The holiday homework will be evaluated on the basis of
presentation , quality research and timely submission .The weightage of marks for the
holiday homework will be included in the internal assessment for all the subjects. The
Holiday H.W of Global Times will be submitted to the class teacher and evaluated by
the English teachers of the respective sections.

LEAF THROUGH AND ABSORB
Read the novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and write down its summary in your
own words. In addition, pen down your views and outlook on the changing role and
position of women in the society , drawing a comparison between the era when the
novel was written and the present times.
Global Times
Pearls of Wisdom: Write an inspirational/ spiritual quote or a story from our holy
scriptures. Discuss its relevance in todays world. (250-300 words)

Instructions regarding MATHAMITY : As per the instructions given by the
respective maths teachers , students can start working towards making of Math
amity Models , Charts, File , Logbook etc .
The prepared material regarding Math amity will also be submitted by the group

a) To test the materials available at home using natural indicator (china rose
solution, turmeric solution). Give the report in tabular form in a A4 size file.

humidity level) of North India for 15 days and do statiscal analysis and conclude.

SOCIAL SCIENCE
Roll No. 1-10 Prepare a A4 size scrap file to compare the architectural style of India
with U.K and Germany. Paste pictures related to your study. At least two to three
monuments should be taken to compare features with illustrations.
Roll No. 11-20 Prepare a power point presentation on Understanding Media or
Understanding advertising. Refer to Ch-6 and Ch-7 of the Text book Social and Political
life part-II
Roll No. 21-30 Prepare a A4 size scrap file on the growth and development in the
field of transport and communication. Conduct a comparative study of the topic in
reference to changes in this field in past and in present .Highlight the significance of
latest developments in the same field. Also paste pictures related to your study .
Roll No. 31-onwards Prepare a A4 size scrap file on the monuments constructed by
the Mughals in the medieval period in India. Each monument should have the following
detail:
a) Name of the ruler ,who built it.
b) Location and Time period
c) Architectural features
d) Historical importance of the monument

Go to the online Catalogue of AIS, find any E-Book(fiction), read and write a book review and
also URL.


Read a book of any other genres (Motivational, Popular Science, Self help, Biographies and
Mythological) and write a summary (in 100 words). Write few lines about the author as well.
