About the author

Born on 26.10.1942, the author known in inner circles as AGK, is the youngest of the siblings of Nithyasoori Ubhaya Vedhantha Shri. A. Alagar Iyengar and Shrimathi. Soodamani of Srivilliputtur, a divya desam dear to shrivaishnavites, about 60 km. from Madurai, in Tamil Nadu . He is also the grandson of Nithyasoori U.V. Shri Appanaiyangar, who was the famous kainkaryaparar of Swami Desikan sannidhi at Srivilliputtur. He had his final schooling at G.S. Hindu High School, Srivilliputtur and higher education at Loyola College, Madras and Madura College, Madurai. He entered the services in the Indian Audit Accounts Department in 1963 and got in to IA & AS. The author is a thiruvadi (disciple) of Thirukkudainthai Aandavan Shri Vedantha Ramanuja Mahadesikan of Srimath Andavan Mut of Srirangam. . The Tamil works of the author include:
