Join us for a discussion on ADA Compliance Best Practices and how they can work for your organization. Lyn Hewitt, SPHR is an HR Professional with industry experience in the Manufacturing, Construction, Architectural Services, Health Insurance, and Retail Industries. Within these industries Lyn has performed HR, recruiting, training, design, and project management functions. Currently she works in HR and Program Management at FXI in Novi. Lyn holds an MBA from Walsh College and a BA in Administration from Lawrence Technological University. Lyn is an active member of SHRM and past President of the Livingston Area Human Resources Association (LAHRA). During her term as President Lyn led the Association to earn the 2012 Platinum EXCEL Award. This award is the highest offered by SHRM and recognizes outstanding chapter achievement. Lyn has lobbied on Capitol Hill on behalf of the HR Profession. She is active with Michigan Shifting Gears and conducts resume reviews and mock interviews to assist job seekers in this program. Lyn volunteers at the Ann Arbor CIL to support their career service programs and increase disability awareness. Lyn also works through her consulting firm Transitions Training Center, Inc to support recruiting, Hiring, and HR functions for small businesses .
