The Center for Applied Industrial Technologies is a social project aimed at imparting technical skills and knowledge with ethical values to young out-of school-youths and also to adult workers from the less privileged sector of society. The Center for Applied Industrial Technologies is dedicated to providing Practical, hands-on Affordable and Convenient training even to the working professionals. We seek to empower entrepreneurs and technicians to earn the career skills to succeed in their career goals. We are pleased and excited to announce that we are starting a brand new partnership with industries to offer a dual certification program in General and Special Education. This program will start in January, June and September each year. As is the case with all programs CAIT offers, this program is affordable and designed for the working professional. Please for more information. Our professional development programs in Kampala help entrepreneurs reach their true potential. We understand that all projects are different and each project presents a unique set of challenges. Therefore all services provided by CAITI are fully customized. to schedule a free needs assessment. In addition to our programs that help professionals advance their careers through our continuing education and training we have now partnered with the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to support a program continuing education and training Now employees can earn the skills necessary to advance their career within process industry.

Caiti Mission
The Center for Applied Industrial technologies (CIATI) is an institution committed to provide training in technical skills and entrepreneurship, values formation, and social services to the less privileged youth, their families, the local community and the industrial sector of Uganda. We aim to develop in them a high sense of professionalism and a deep moral and social-oriented spirit. Organization profile. The Center for Applied Industrial Technologies international (CAITI) is an industry-based and socially oriented institution which plays a relevant role in the economic and social development of Uganda, and the neighbouring East African countries. CIATI provides top-quality technical training to persons belonging to the lower-income stratum of society by means of scholarships. It provides technical re-training and management upgrading courses for industry workers. It is also a values formation center, which nurtures human virtues and values in its students, clients, and staff. The Centre was established in 2013 as a non-stock, non-profit educational organization.

The main programmes themes in operation included are:1. Entrepreneurship Development 2. Education (Especially children & women) 3. Women and Childrens Health & Family welfare

Recognition Partners Technical Services Short Term Skills Training CAITI also serves as a venue to provide short-term technical skills upgrading courses to industry workers. The courses are taken from the different technology specializations of the school's Industrial Technician Program. The length of these courses varies from 30 to 90 hours.

OPERATIONS AND TRAINING MANUALS OF INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT DEVELOPMENT The school has technical writers and subject matter experts who can develop operation and training manuals for specific production machine/equipment. These manuals can be in paper document or multimedia form. TRAINING COURSEWARE DEVELOPMENT (PAPER-BASED AND INTERACTIVE MEDIA) The school's technical writers and subject matter experts in conjunction with industry-based subject matter experts can develop the appropriate training manuals for specific industry needs. These manuals can be in paper document or multimedia form. TRAINING CENTER START-UP AND CONSULTANCY CAITI experience in helping other technical schools in the form of teachers' basic and upgrading courses, laboratory set-up and training system installation provided us with unique experience of helping organizations develop a technical training center from the ground up. The school has already provided technical expertise to two new technical training centers in Uganda. DIDACTIC EQUIPMENT DESIGN AND PROTOTYPING A business unit of the school is involved in the design and development of technical training curriculum materials and the supporting didactic tools (i.e., tools used and designed for technical teaching or instruction). This involves a skills gap analysis and curriculum development process with industry validation, in-house pilot testing (in the technical school) and the subsequent technical support for the users of the didactic materials developed.

TRAINORS TRAINING The school provides training to new technical trainers and refresher courses for trainers/teachers in other technical institutions. A global, updated plan of formation will be put together for these key technical personnel. Subjects will include Pedagogy, Values Formation, Technology Specialization and Didactic method MANAGEMENT STAFF
