Header Information

Enter the site name by keyboard and press [Enter], the cursor jumps to the next field. Scan the NE item code and afterwards the NE serial number. If SAP is in use, then the WBS Code need to be entered, otherwiese the SiteID can be used. The Subcontractor can find the WBS code in EPM. If Network Element can not be found, please check following pages!

No Network Element (New change when NEID is missing)

In case the network element sticker can not be found, or the CSV file is generated for Microwave or any other unites which does not belong to the Network Element, the Network Element Item code and Serial number should be left blank. NetraScanner will create then a special header line automatically in the CSV file.

Next step is to scan the Item code and Seri Number of each passive unit. After each sca the cursor jumps to the next field.

After a unit is successfully scanned, the unit information are listed in the table.

The error checking function checks the following:

- Serial number is not allowed to have a dot. - Serial number can not be scanned twice. - Item code and Serial number can not be the sam

If SAP is in use, the following additional rule is act -Item Code needs to have a dot.

With the Rescan Button you can delete the item completely and restart the scan process.

To create the CSV file, just click to the Generate File Button. The file will be created in the storage location which is specified in the options.

There are 2 different file formats, one for MLS a the other for SAP R/3. These settings can be changed under options.

The commissioning file looks like this in Notepad. Dont open this file in Excel, because Excel destroys sometimes the file format. The Network Element item code has to be on the first row, in the 1st column and the Network Element serial number in the 11th column.
