    good title, phylum (sometimes), genus, species, power of microscope XC - cross section; WM - whole mount horizontal lines for labels (one bend allowed if absolutely necessary) lowercase letters in labels (unless proper noun) first letter of each label must line up no shading, only stippling (dots) Magnification always added to the back of the drawing tells the viewer how much larger the drawing is compared to real life
