Issues, Challenges and Opportunities

Safety is one of the primary concerns of the construction industry. The accident rate in construction is among the highest in comparison to other industries all over the world. The situation is even more daunting in most developing countries where no formal law exist to enforce safety rules and regulations on construction sites.
The main aim of this conference is to bring together renowned and qualified contractors, engineers, project managers, clients, academics and other professionals from all over the world, for the presentation and exchange of their thoughts and experiences on safety, health, engineering and management issues in construction and related industries. The conference is expected to provide a platform for discussion on real life case studies and present the status of the construction industry in the view of the participants. Such interaction will help to promote the development and implementation of modern construction management practices in developing countries.
