Jhelum & meet Mr. , who give me complete information that required. I also get

Q: -1 The training program that the organization conducted recently?


Ans:-

PTCL arranged Vocation Training courses in skill development. PTCL has


selected Technical Education and Vocation Training Authority (TEVTA) for
providing these courses. Employees could choose the best course of up to three-
month duration according to the market needs and their plans on PTCL expense.

Etisalat Academy and PTCL have jointly embarked upon a project, namely “PTCL
Training & Development Functional & Operational Restructuring Project,” A
dedicated project team, comprising members from PTCL and the Etisalat Academy
(EA) will work together on this Training & Development revamping project, The
project team will review the resources available at PTCL’s training centers, identify
gaps and then devise a strategy to completely revamp these institutions.

Now-a-days use of computer is important in every field of life. Therefore, PTCL


also start computer training programs & providing computers to its main stations
for online purpose, interlink, networking, Digital Switching Line (SDL) & for
broad band system. Because use of computer is must for technical, HR &
engineering section.

Q:_2 What were the reasons to conduct that particular training program?

Ans:-

There are many reasons to conduct these particular training programs.

Because of VSS departing employees could find new means of employment and
hence a source of regular income.

PTCL Training & Development Functional & Operational Restructuring Project is


to improve PTCL’s training and development of it human resources and bring it at
par with Etisalat’s high quality standards.

Computer training is important for controlling, networking, interlink, SDL, Testing


Instruments & maintenance tools. Like banks now PTCL system also computerized
therefore computer training is important.
It is must to increase or improve employee’s competency & organizational
performance because training focuses on providing employees with relevant skills
& helping those correct deficiencies in their performance.

Q:3 Did the organization achieve the desired results from that training
program, how they have evaluated its effectiveness?

Ans:-

Effective training can rise performance, improve moral & increase an


organizational potential. To maximize the benefit of training admin must closely
monitor the training process.

Because of VSS employees are able to find new means of employment &
there is considerable improvement in human resource development. Yes we are
achieving desired results from these training programs. Employee’s performance is
now better than previous. Now they can use computer easily & control all system
through computer & able to follow guidelines through computer.

If the evaluation is positive after training than it is effective.

After training programs employees’ performance is better & organization also


achieve desired results so evaluation is positive mean effective.

Q:-4 what do you suggest to the company’s management for further


improvements?

Ans:-

These are my suggestion for further improvements.

Basic information about staff average skills or abilities considered when start
training programs because may be someone have a degree but not experience &
someone has experience but not degree so also considered that staff when start
training programs.

Also process of maintenance, testing instruments etc should be computerized so


that we can do better work within minimum time.
Also give some allowance or some benefit with training programs so that
employees can take interest in training programs.
