INTRODUCTION

Our society nowadays is constantly. It was not the society that was existed many years ago. In order to compete with the global economy we must learn on how to quickly appreciate and learn to apply innovation of new technology to ensure that workforce remain competitive.

What does innovation means and how does innovation of new technology changes of our life? According to some authors, the word innovation derives from the Latin word innovates which is the noun form of innovare to renew or change steaming from in into+novus- is the development of new values through solutions that meet new requirement, inarticulate needs, or old customer and market needs in value adding nowadays. (Guiney, John, 2007)

In our society alone, innovation of new technology can be a great help in the study of economics, business, entrepreneurs, design, technology and engineering. It aids to comfort, convenience, and efficiency of our everyday life. Some examples are: benchmarks in our railroad, equipment and infrastructure added to greater safety maintenance speed weight and capacity of passengers services. Another is the existence of trains which is faster, more comfortable trips and lower cost for passengers. Through innovation of new technology quality of life becomes easier and comfortable. Some of these are innovation of lights from incandescent to compact fluorescent then LCD technology which offers greater efficiency, durability, and brightness, adaption of modems to cellular phones, supplying the public with internet access anytime or place and lastly from old simple TV type monitor to flat screen LCD monitor. (Motohashi, Kazayuki, 1995)

With regards to business and economics innovation of new technology is considered as catalyst to growth. With the rapid advancement, the world concepts of factor endowments which focus on area of inputs are outmoded for todays global economy. O ur entrepreneurs are looking better or more effective process and results. In our organizations, such as hospitals and universities, innovation of new technology can be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, and quality of services. In hospitals, through innovation of new technology, human health had improved, knowledge of the body and its functions improves new tools to help heal are created that resulted to longer life. People can live more comfortably and secure from wounds and diseases, in university, like Adamson University, through innovation of new technology students life become comfortable, the laboratories, the LCD, the projectors, the system that the university is using like E-learning help both students, teaching and non-teaching staff as well.

This paper intends to answer this question: How effective is the innovation of new technology?

This paper aims to provide an understanding of invention, innovation, and design, and diffusion as on-going processes with a range of factors affecting success at each stage. We will gain an understanding of the factors that motivate individuals and organizations to invent, and the creative process by which individuals come up with ideas for new inventions and designs, and you will gain an understanding of the obstacles that have to overcome to bring an inventions to market and the factors that influence the successful diffusion of an innovation into widespread use.

The goal of this paper is to introduce readers to the key concepts associated with technology, invention, and innovation and to have them invent something. Readers must learn the basics associated with technology, how inventions and innovations lead to new technology, and how technology influences inventions and innovations.

BODY

This research paper gathered data through interview by some students in the university built. The researchers selected this means of gathering data because they found it easier and students are more accessible within the area. They will just use their convincing power and friendly approach to meet the target output of the researchers.

In many developing countries like the Philippines, they tried to get better utilities, more vehicles, and faster computers, as well as internet and cell phones providers because that what makes a modern society.

The researchers wanted to tackle on some aspects where effective innovation of new technology can be proven. These areas are not touched by the interviewees whom they consulted.

In areas of health, we can say that effectiveness of innovation of new technology is that human longevity as well as understanding of the body by improves modern equipments such as lasers, surgical tools, MRI, and others. Another is through innovation of new technology resources are expanded used are being trapped. In electricity, which is very important in our daily living, wind and tidal generators use harness forces on scale that our ancestors thought it would be impossible. Another is that, innovation of new technology increases our knowledge and how people can use it. It is the direct result of discovering and experimentation. Since new technology is the method being used to achieved a commercial goal.

Despite the fact that we cannot really ignore the effectiveness of new technology in our lives, technology has greatly helped us to become more efficient thus increasing our productivity. It has also helped us a great deal to be able to save on many resources such as time and money and these are great benefits that we cannot ignore. Furthermore, it also served as a bridge in bringing unity in the world by turning it into a global village which has in turn helped people to more easily overcome their cultural, racial, and continental barriers.

TABLE 1: How effective is the innovation of new technology? Interviewee 1 (Erwin Sy, AB Political Science) Technology has play a vital role in the world and it is undeniable fact that it affects every part of our lives. The latest developments or innovation in technology can be seen in many industries. The costs of production decreases and it makes production and distribution faster and easier. The technological innovation also contributed in medical research by providing many drugs and medication that helped prevent diseases. With technology, it is not surprising that the education system became advanced. Distance learning, e-learning as well as including computer subjects in curriculum made our education system effective. With this, benefit of technology, we cannot set aside technology as part of our lives. Interviewee 2 (Jaycel Beliganio, AB Communication) Technology has been rapidly chasing and expanding in every field. An example, the state of the art smart phones that are capable of acting as an computer devices: can take pictures, search the internet, send emails, and text messages. It seems hard these days to fathom how communication options have literally in abrupt access of text and video-based chats. Even automobiles are now a big devise with standards GPS and emergency call features for the assurance and advantage of drivers and their passengers. Indeed, technology innovations have changed our lives completely. Interviewee 3 (Chester Quidlat, AB Political Science) Innovation of new technology contributes effectively in terms of communication and transaction. As we can see, many of us uses cell phones, computer, and tablets for communication purposes, in this matter, we can visualize how effective it is for us. Generally, this innovation of new technology effectively helps our modern world. Interviewee 4 (Andrea Des Tria, AB Political Science) Innovation of new technology for me is very efficient because for all we know today, we can do anything in one place at some point of time. Technology is an absolute need that we cannot escape from. For me, it has a very big role in most aspects of our lives, in others, it answers most of mankind. Innovation of new technology aiming for comfort of use in which ever for it, it is always directs for easiness in my life. Interviewee 5 (Elaine Apit, AB Mass Communication) Innovation is not simply developing new technologies into a new products or services. In society today, technology plays an important role in peoples lives and in businesses and organizations around the world. Because most technologies existing today were designed to expedite the way we manage, store, handle, analyze, and communicate information. Example, the wireless technologies today. Technological innovation makes daily life more convenient and enjoyable for everyone.

Table 1 shows that effective production; effective medical and education aspects can be achieved by innovation of new technology. By adopting innovation of new technology, production increases because of the high technology, machineries, equipment, and produces invented by new technology. Manual output and hand to hand production is lessen and as a result higher output in the products. In medical area, medical research such as drugs and medication that will help prevent diseases if not totally cure them. In education system became advanced. With innovation of new technology distance learning, e-learning, as well as computer subjects as part of the curriculum made the education system effective.

It also shows that through innovation of new technology, effective communication is achieved. Faster, convenient and more accessible but cheaper expense can be the result of innovation of new technology. It shows the effectiveness of innovation of new technology in our modern world today in communication and transaction area. This can be achieved by using new gadgets, equipment, computers, and other high technology that was presented to the society nowadays.

It also shows that innovation of new technology is very effective because anything wanted to do is one place at the same point of time. According to this paper, this is absolute that nobody can escape from. It plays a vital role in most aspects of our lives and answers problems to most mankind. Innovation of new technology serves as a comfort and directs life in an easier way.

Lastly, it shows that in society today, technology plays an important role in peoples lives and in businesses and organizations around the world. Because most technologies existing today were designed to expedite the way we manage, store, handle, analyze, and communicate information. Example the wireless technologies today. Technological innovation makes daily life more convenient and enjoyable for everyone. These prove that no matter how difficult life is when innovation of new technology come to realize would become effective.

CONCLUSION

New technologies mostly affect our life positively. For example, those new technology made our life easier and convenience because it attributes lesser time to perform every single task in our life. Traditional approach are being eradicated and replaced. Traditional and long method of every transaction is shortened. However, there are also negative effects of new technology in our life. For example, because of the convenience and easier impact of new technology negative effects on attitude and personality can be observed. A concrete example of these are; people becoming lazy because of said convenience, people are not contended with their natural looking, consult, enhanced their physical outlook through surgeries. However, the negative effects of innovation of new technologies were not the focused of the researchers. Furthermore, the researchers tried to deal with the effectiveness of innovation of new technology in several aspects of the society. Overall, most of the discussions of the researchers as well as the answers to their inquiries were all about the positive side. In any case the positive or negative effects of innovation of new technology depend on the mentality of the person who deals with it. If the person will take in the positive way it as a convenience and easier lifestyle without changing the good values to negative result. On the other way around of the person deal with it on a negative way accompanied by negative result of good values.

FULL TRANSCRIPT FOR INTERVIEW

Brainstorming is the very first step to do prior to setting plans for interview. Each member of our group contributes their opinion in order to run the interview and to acquire a positive result as well as to get the accurate answer on our research. We have up with interview students from AB Political Science and AB Communication for these courses are more than related connected to new technologies.

We target to interview in the campus. We prepared to give the best approach to interviewee by controlling the overall atmosphere and thus can make the process less stressful on the part of the interviewer and the interviewee. The interview process is very important so we started to make the interviewee comfortable and relax for them to share the best opinion/answer for we believe that this can increase efficiency during the interview process.

Before starting with the interview proper, our group has a per-selected set of questions to use during the interview. Though we have the list of questions, we used these as guidelines in the interview. In this way, we can allow the interview process take its own unique shape that made the approach more comfortable. The students felt free in expressing their opinion with the given questions. We were able to visualize their thoughts and ideas. In this method, we were able to obtain a positive response and made our interview a successful one.
