MINISTRY OF NATIONAL SECURITY SPORTS The Ministry of National Security Sports and Family Day brought all the Divisions together for a day of fun in the sun. The Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service was the overall winner of the games. Below are the final scores inclusive of preevents and the actual Sports Day. AIR GUARD BBQ AND SMALL GOAL FOOTBALL COMPETITION Its that time of year again! The Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard will be hosting its 7th Annual Bar-B-Que and Small Goal Football Competition on July 13, 2013 at the Ulric Cross Air Station, North Bank Road, Piarco, from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. All meat options for the Bar-B- Que (chicken, pork and fish) will be priced at $35.00. NSTA GRADUATION

The Treasure Hunt and 7K Run, Walk or Crawl are initiatives undertaken by the National Drug Council (NDC) as they work toward the eradication of illegal drugs in Trinidad and Tobago. For further details, please contact Simone Bascombe at 623 2441 ext. 13145 or 13148.

Eighteen (18) Crime Scene Investigators will be graduating from the Ministry of National Security, National Training Academy (NSTA) today! The ceremony takes place today, Friday 21 st June, 2013 at the Specialist Crime Academy, Camp Cumuto, Wallerfield at 2.00p.m. The Minister of National Security, Senator the Honourable Emmanuel George will deliver the feature address at the graduation ceremony. Also present will be Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Kenrick Maharaj, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Stephen Williams and guest speaker from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mrs. Joan Honore -Paul.

ENERGY SECTOR SECURITY INITIATIVE


The Ministry of National Security established the Energy Sector Security Initiative (ESSI) with the aim of providing adequate security for our Critical Energy Infrastructures. On Friday 14th June, 2013 Lieutenant Colonel Darnley Wyke, the Military Liaison Officer and Chairman of the ESSI Operations Committee, hosted the Energy Sector Security Initiative (ESSI) Critical Infrastructure and Response Workshop.
