Other News
Word & Deed Update: Malawi is a beautiful country rolling hills, brilliant sky and sparkling lakes, but it is also a country deeply affected by sin. Sexual promiscuity leading to HIV/AIDS, abandonment, polygamy, unconcerned fathers, witchcraft and prostitution have all left their mark. In response, Word & Deed partners with various churches and organizations to support orphan care, church leadership training and safe homes. While some of these projects are doing well, two are still recovering from the death of Frank Phiri and others are bogged down by sin and are deterred in their mission because of lack of commitment, dishonesty and interest in selfish gain. Please pray that the faithful in Malawi would find daily strength to serve God in difficult circumstances and that these projects would be used by God for healing in Malawi and for His glory.
