support to the Programmes Team in managing activities and projects and to the Country Director for the efficient management of the directorate. A majority of the work will be logistical, administrative and communications support to the Programmes team in delivering the following projects: Arts a. Look of Style Society b. I am A Changemaker Education c. Ateneo High School UK Summer School d. Philippine Football Federation under 13 UK Training Camp e. European Higher Education Fair f. 15th UK Education Fair g. Coaching Curriculum Training for Philippine Academy of Sports h. Global Education Dialogues i. Services for International Education Marketing (SIEM) Context and Environment: The British Council in Philippines is identified as one of the large contributors to the redeployable surplus in East Asia region. Philippines is an important cultural and educational partner for the UK and we need to increase the impact of our operations locally. The British Council aims to provide opportunities through access to quality UK qualifications. In the Philippines, the British Council works mainly in English, Education, Society and Arts. The post holder will become a member of the Programmes team and will report to the Country Director. Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Main Duties: (75%) To provide logistical, administrative, and communications support to the Programmes team, which includes: a. Maintaining and delivering online, e-marketing and social media materials for British Council Philippines in line with the digital communications strategy. This will further include finding creative and innovative ways to involve and engage our audiences and partners in the work of British Council at a national, regional and global level. b. Ongoing maintenance of BC Philippines Social Entrepreneurship, Arts and Education website, including updating news posts; project information and commissioned features. c. Upkeep of the generic British Council Philippines Facebook and Twitter accounts and delivery of social media campaign for specific projects. d. Maintaining the database of online audience and social networking communities. e. Performing the role of GE01 in SAP and ensuring that the Procurement Process is followed. f. Liaise with British Council accredited vendors and suppliers with regard to procurement, travel and other activities related to project activity g. Provide assistance as needed to programme events like manning the reception area, settingup of venue and providing all around support in the running of programme activity outside of the British Council office. h. Providing communication and coordinating information on behalf of the Programmes Team to other departments of the British Council office i.e. internal newsletter for staff, updating the Programmes calendar on outlook

(15%) General Support to the Country Director in the day-to-day management of the Directorate through the following tasks: j. Manage appointments and meetings, including pre-FCCF; draft agenda and minutes for the management team and all-staff meetings, organise receptions including catering, guestlists; k. Handle correspondence, draft letters for Director's signature, relay Director's reply to invitations; screen/place phone calls and take messages; l. Handle travel arrangements including hotel and transportation; handle Directors reimbursement requests; and m. Undertake small-scale in-house research work and prepare reports as required. (5%) To keep updated professionally particularly in the areas of project implementation by attending appropriate training courses / workshops and self study and to develop generic competencies through taking part in training and development programmes within the training and development.
