Trunk media gateways are used to mediate between the TDM and IP world, providing top speech quality. Connections to other softswitches are realized using SIP-I and SIP-NNI. SIP subscribers are integrated via application servers, to which SURPASS hiE 9200 provides an SIP interface to inter-operate. Cross Domain Centrex allows to integrate SURPASS hiE 9200 controlled subscribers into a SIP application server based business group. IN-applications can use the SURPASS hiE 9200 resources to provide new and innovative services that communicate via INAP.

all features. This includes reuse of EWSD infrastructure to protect your investments. On the other hand, you can build up a new NGN overlay network without touching the TDM network for the introduction of NGN services. SURPASS hiE 9200 can be deployed as 100 % TDM-less, footprintoptimized hardware mainly based on commercial platforms.
