Instalation on Windows XP

1) The torrent contains "crack" folder, m-ugnx5a image file and a txt doc. Mount the Image file on to a emulated/virtual drive i.e. Daemon Tools. Once mounted, the image will auto run and you will have options to install various programs. You need to first select to install NX. You will now be presented with a list of additional components to install. Make sure you click on all the additional components and select to have them installed. The next screen will ask you for a license server name. Type in 27000@host with the host being your computer name. i.e. 2700@kitchenpc If your computer name is unknown to you, it can be found by right clicking My computer and selecting properties. Next click the "computor name" tab at the top of the window which has opened. Then at the bottom of the window you have an option to"change..." the name. Click this change button and it will display the current name of your PC. Now continue the installation.

2) Once NX has been installed, open the torrent again and open the crack folder and select the nx5.lic file.you will need toright clickthis and open with Notepad, BE SURE TO UNTICK USE THIS PROGRAMALL THE TIME. Very Important. Once opened you need to editthe first line, to your computer name. Below is an example of the first few lines of text contained in the file. SERVER host_pc ID=20070424 28000 VENDOR ugslmd PACKAGE ADVDES ugslmd 23.0 6DFC4218A40C COMPONENTS="ADVDES_assemblies \ ADVDES_dotnet_runtime ADVDES_drafting ADVDES_dxf_to_ug \ ADVDES_dxfdwg ADVDES_features_modeling \ ADVDES_free_form_modeling ADVDES_gateway ADVDES_iges \ ADVDES_nx_freeform_1 ADVDES_nx_freeform_2 ADVDES_pstudio_cons You need to change thefirst line of text to indicate the nameofyour PC and the port. i.e. SERVER kitchenpc ID=20070424 27000

3) Now save the alterations and close the file. Next right click and copy this nx5.lic file. Now navigate to the UGNX5 installation for folder and your looking for the folder "UGFLEXLM" in the UG root folder. e.g. C:\Program Files\UGS\NX 5.0\UGFLEXLM once the folder is open, right click inside and paste the nx5.lic file.

4) Now you need to replace the .dll files located in the torrent crack directory. Open the crack directory and you will see the folder program files. IGNORE folder called NXNastran This is not needed The .dll's have been placed in the folders were they need to be replaced. E.g. The first .dll you will come across is in "ugnx5a\Crack\Program Files\UGS\NX 5.0\NXPLOT" copy the .dll and paste it in your Actual NX installation folder E.g. "C:\Program Files\UGS\NX 5.0\NXPLOT" You will be asked are you sure you want to over write, click yes and repeat this step for the remaining 2 .dll files in the crack folder.

5) Now it is time to install the flexlm license server. The main install screen should still be open from when you mounted the image file. If not remount the image. Now select to install the licence server. During the instalation you will have to browse for the license. Navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\UGS\NX 5.0\and select the nx5..lic file which you have placed there. Once the installation is complete restart the PC. Now each time you wish to use this program, you need to select which Licence bundle you are wanting to use. You will need to go to "Start > All Programs > Ugs NX 5.0 > NX Licencing Tools > License Options"

and then select the license bundle you wish to use. then once added you can use the program as you wish. hope this helps.

4) Reboot and run the program.
