Multan is an advancing city where the trends and culture has been changing dramatically. There was a time when people use to live in joint families and the source of income was use to be the male members only. But now as the population of the city has been increasing day by day and the life has become very tough in monetary terms. Thats not it; the increasing trend of females high education is also increased. All these factors have influenced the females of our society to go out of their houses and enter in to the professional fields in order to earn money and support their family and also to prove their abilities and skills. Our aim is to focus a specific group and class of those females who are professionals and are involved in any social or professional activity and provide them with a service which will help them in carrying out their activities efficiently and effectively. Designing a high quality, developmentally and culturally appropriate child care center is a highly complex task that requires specialized and unique knowledge and skills. We are opening a Day care centre; for those females, who are working some where and are professionals or they are involved in social activities such as preaching etc. Because of that or of any other reason are not able to give time to their children. Our day care centre will be providing with a trustworthy and comfortable environment to the parents so that they can leave their children & carryout their activities with no worries.

LOCATION OF THE CENTER

We have chosen the ideal location of Multan that is Gulgasht, which is a commercial yet a peaceful area. The area has a good reputation and its convenient for our target market (others as well) to reach us. The Gulgasht area has a number of educational institutions. Government College, Multan (also known as Bosan Road College) is the oldest institute of learning of Multan. Various public and private schools and colleges provide education up to Masters Level, including Punjab College for women at Bosan Road. There are several private schools and colleges which follow foreign curricula like the British grammar school.
5

EASE FOR PROFESSIONAL WOMEN 6Ease for Professional Women

The institutes like La Salle High School, Multan Public School and College, Girls Public School and College, Jinnah Highs, Bloomfield Hall, Nishat High School, Zikrya Public School and Beacon House and Multan Public School and College Bahauddin Zakariya University formerly known as Multan University is the main source of higher education for this region. This Colony is also Popular Business Centre of the City after old Chock Bazaar and Cant shopping areas.

Advantages of location
6

EASE FOR PROFESSIONAL WOMEN 7Ease for Professional Women

Good visibility: as it is located on the main road so the visibility of the day care centre is very good.

Commercial area: there are different offices and schools located around the day care centre of high standard and class so the environment is quite peaceful and good.

No competitors within the large scale of area as there is not any day care center nearby. Basically the threat of the competition is very low The residents over of the area belong to that group whose income is quite good and who have a better standard of living. A number of schools and nurseries are their. So it is easy for our main target market (primary school teachers and other newly married workers) to reach us.

We have selected the staff child ratio as follows Toddlers Juniors Senior 1 Senior 2 Nursery = = 1 staff for every 5 toddlers 1 staff for every 8 juniors

= 1 staff for every 10 children = 1 staff for every 12 children = 1 staff for every 8 children

School-age = 1 staff for every 15 children

Arrival and Departure Policy

Programs begin at 8:00am. It is recommended to have your child at the daycare no later than 9:30 am in order to avoid any interruption daily routines or in programming. We request a telephone call to the daycare be made prior to 9:30 am, otherwise it will be assumed that the child is absent for the day. We ask that parents do not drop children off at the front door. After that the children will be taken to their designated classrooms. opportunities in a culturally and economically diverse environment ensuring a climate for individual growth, comfort, and security.

SWOT Analysis
STRENGTHS
The employees posses a strong educational background with solid experience. Good contacts with a number of Montessoris, pre-schools and nurseries. These contacts can be used for marketing purpose. Cost of labor is low as compare to any other service business. Professionals such as health specialists and trained and highly qualified staff will give out a good impression. We have added some other features such as teach religious (Muslims) and ethical values.

WEAKNESSES
Building up a trustworthy and strong relationship with families and parents require an ample of time. Its an emerging trend so lack of motivation might be there.

OPPORTUNITIES
The localities where we have set up business have a very moderate life style which is changing day by day. Joint family system hardly exists. Majority of the females are either working some where or are engaged in different social activities due to which they are unable to look after their children. So the need for a day care centre is there and this changing trend can help us to expand our business.

THREATS
It takes time to build up a strong and trustworthy relationship with the parents and families so initially the chances of meeting up our target profits would be low. The idea and concept is still emerging and there is big space in the market for this business.
15

EXIT STRATEGY
When there is a success, there can also be a failure
We all know that in Pakistan majority of the women are house wives and they takes care of their children by their own so there is a high possibility of failure of this business in Pakistan but this is an innovative business in Pakistan and we hope that it will work and we will become successful in doing this business. What If this business gets flop? If this business gets flop then we will open a GIFT SHOP. A GIFT SHOP is the most successful and very popular business in Pakistan and we want to open GIFT SHOP in Gulgasht because there is no that kind of shop in the entire Gulgasht area where there is a very broad variety of gift items and we will open a GIFT SHOP with a
full range of gifts, baby toys, artificial jewelry, perfumes, crockery, show pieces, chocolates and much more so that customer could not go empty hand from our shop and for this we need to invest almost Rs.3000000. But in the last we would like to pray for our DAY CARE business to be the successful business in Pakistan because this is really a good innovation in our country. May ALLAH BLESS US!
