Further observations (peculiarities of the referee revealing his character) Stephane Lannoy is a very experienced official with a big record of matches. So he used his experience to deal with players. This became clear especially in some tackles that many other referees would have punished with a YC. Lannoy chose to warn verbally such cases in a very strict manner. This helped him gain the respect of the players and finish the match without incidents.
