Tight Times

It seems as though everywhere you look, people are trying to

“tighten up.” Paying off debt, getting rid of the non-essentials, and
watching spending. If only our government did the same! Jewelie
and I are planning on attending the Billy Graham Evangelism Night With
Conference in May and noticed that even the BGEA (Billy Graham
Evangelistic Association) was having to lay off 10 percent of its’ staff Bill Saye
due to giving problems. You know times are tough if even Billy The Morgan County Ministerial

See You In Church Sunday!

First off, thanks to everyone who helped with the Spaghetti Dinner. We had a great turn out of help
from adult sponsors and the students, and I have to say even the left-overs from the next day were
really good! I think it was one of the best tasting Spaghetti Dinners that we have had! Thanks for all
your support! We raised about $350. Expect more of these fundraisers before the summer is over with.
We might even branch out next time and try something different.

Remember we have a Sign-Up sheet & paperwork for MOVE (CIY) in the basement. Also, as a side note,
Rachel and I are not moving. In the last newsletter I said that we are going to MOVE. MOVE is the new
name of the summer conference we go to every year affiliated with CIY (Christ In Youth). Some people
asked Rachel if we were moving away last week, so I just wanted to clear that up!

Also we have had quite a few people say they want to be involved with Relay for Life. If you are inter-
ested please let me know. The event is scheduled for June 5th. I know graduation has been scheduled
for that evening, but the event lasts all night, so come join us afterwards. It’s a great thing, and the
