01 DESCRIPTION This Section covers CONTRACTOR requirements for providing: A. B. C. 1.02 Daily Reports Weekly Reports Monthly Reports

DAILY REPORTS A. CONTRACTOR shall submit a Daily Report on Saudi Aramco Form No. 6741 for each WORK Site. Daily Report shall show the activities in progress, problems encountered in performance of the WORK, include the numbers of CONTRACTOR and Subcontractor workers on the WORK Site (broken down into supervisors, crafts and other labor) and weather conditions. Report shall also state numbers and types of working major construction equipment on the site. Equipment under repair or otherwise not available for work shall either be listed as not available or not be listed at all. Reports are required beginning on the first day that a regular work force begins activities at the WORK Site, including mobilization. Reports shall continue until the CONTRACTOR has completely demobilized at the WORK Site and no continuous regular work force remains. Daily Reports are to be initialed or signed by the COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE to verify receipt of the report. Initialing or signing by the COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE shall not be construed as being a verification or confirmation of the accuracy of the report. Daily Reports shall be submitted not later than 1:00 P.M. on the day following the date of the Daily Report.

WEEKLY REPORTS A. Timing CONTRACTOR shall submit a Weekly Progress Report for the project to the Company Representative not later than 24 hours prior to the Weekly Progress Meeting. Such reports will be required beginning with the first Weekly Progress Meeting and shall continue until the last Weekly Progress Meeting is held.

Contents 1. Each Weekly Progress Report shall contain specific details of weekly and cumulative progress percentages planned and achieved for each WORK Site in comparison with the current approved construction schedule. A summary of planned and actual manpower shall be reported for each WORK Site. Planned and achieved percentages of material procurement shall be reported for the project as a whole. A narrative of planned and achieved activities shall be reported under the following categories: Activities Planned For the Current Week Activities Completed During the Current Week Planned Activities Not Completed During the Current Week Activities Planned For the Coming Week 5. A summary of the status of material technical submittals shall be included indicating how many submittals have been submitted for approval, approved, rejected, and awaiting further action by SAUDI ARAMCO or CONTRACTOR. Any submittals deemed to be critical shall be highlighted in this report and an indication given as to who needs to take action to gain final approval. A copy of the minutes of the CONTRACTORS Weekly Safety Meeting Report shall be included. A summary of the quantity of manpower and equipment on the WORK Sites shall be included for the week being reported on, broken down into the same categories as used in the Daily Report.

MONTHLY REPORTS A. Timing CONTRACTOR shall submit a Monthly Progress Report for the project to the Company Representative by the tenth day of each month. The first report shall be for the month that actual construction begins on any of the WORK Sites. The last report shall be for the month Beneficial Occupancy has been achieved at the last WORK Site. B. Contents Each Monthly Progress Report shall be prepared in accordance with the following guidelines, and as may be requested by Company Representative: SECTION 01700

Prepare a title page. The top shall have the contract title, followed by lines with contract number and JO number. The title page shall indicate it is a "Monthly Progress Report" and indicate the month and year. The CONTRACTOR's name shall appear on this page. The second page shall be a table of contents, outlining the major sections of the report, complete with page numbers. The first section shall be Loss Prevention. There shall be a narrative of safety activities, accidents and "near-misses". A list of topics covered during the weekly safety meetings shall be included. Finally the following statistical information on Loss Prevention shall be included: total man hours worked during the month; total man-hours worked to date on the project; number of lost time accidents during the current month; and number of lost time accidents on the project to date. The second section shall be a summation of WORK performed in the report month. This shall include a bar chart showing the scheduled and planned activities for the month versus the actual activities accomplished. The bar chart shall include weighted percentage progress and manpower information. Any variances between the planned activities and the actual progress shall be explained in a narrative. The narrative shall also include details of any major problems encountered and actions CONTRACTOR has taken to resolve them The third section shall be a summation of anticipated WORK for the next month. This shall include a bar chart. Any variances between the approved WORK Schedule and the current planned activities shall be explained in a narrative. The fourth section shall be a schedule analysis. There shall be a page, which summarizes scheduled progress percentage versus actual on both a cumulative (project to date) and monthly basis. This comparison shall also be made for manpower. Following the summary shall be a copy of a summary level bar chart schedule for the project, which clearly indicates scheduled as well as actual progress to date. If there are significant schedule delays, an appropriate narrative shall be included explaining the cause of the delay and what corrective steps are being taken. The fifth section shall be status of subcontracts. This section shall include a list of WORK categories (by specification division) which are being subcontracted. Include also the company names of any subcontracts, which have been issued. It shall be noted in the report whether or not WORK was done by the subcontractor during the month and its completion status. Note: Subcontractors are defined as those companies who provide any labor at the WORK Site. An updated copy of the Purchase Order control log. Narrative highlights of any change in the status from the previous month. Special actions being implemented to maintain or improve the schedule. Listing of materials delivered to the WORK Site including details of any damage or short delivery. Narrative detailing any material procurement/quality problems, their impact on the project schedule and the actions being taken to correct them.

The seventh section shall be the status of Change Orders. Include a list of all Change Order Requests and Change Orders issued to date. Include the Change Order (or Request) number, description, issue status (pending, under negotiations, Or issued). In the case of issued Change Orders, include status of the changed WORK itself (not started, underway, stopped due to schedule or other reasons, or completed). The eighth section shall be a listing of all customs duties invoices submitted to date, including a brief description of the material, the value of the invoice, the date the invoice was submitted and the date it was paid. Include also a listing of anticipated invoices for future customs duty payments. The ninth section shall be job photographs. There shall be a minimum of 12 photos taken of each WORK Site included in the report each month. Each photo shall be an original print and be appropriately titled. The tenth section shall be for claim status. The CONTRACTOR shall notify the SAUDI ARAMCO representative of the status of any claims or potential claim situations.
