Letter from the Editor College is a shining moment. Every undergraduate is told that their time at university will be different than everything that comes after it. All of us joined Alpha Sig because we wanted this organization, its tenets and members, to be a part of the experience. As editor, it is my responsibility to inform you of our own journeys at #9. The times and faces have changed but the values and mission of Alpha Sigma Phi, Epsilon Delta have not. In Phi, Theodore Eftimiades Alpha Kappa

Marriage in Ye Walls of Sigma Phi!

In Alpha Sigma Phi, we seek to better the man by instructing him in the values of manhood. As an organization, we now celebrate the biggest decision of Jared Selcoes life to spend it in the company of another. Jared and Jacy started dating April, 2005 during their Freshman year of High School seven years ago. On July 13th, 2013, Jared Selcoe and Jacy Estep will be married at the Rockefeller Hall in Houston, Texas. Jacy is a 2 time world champion country western ball room dancer, an avid animal lover, a sister of Sigma Kappa sorority, and has maintained status as an honors student through high school and college. After they graduate together in the Spring of 2013, Jacy plans to attend law school at the University of Texas and Jared plans to work full-time in Houston for FaceTime Strategy. Jared, we wish you the best of times in your new life with Jacy.

Brother Awarded Entry into Alpha Sig Undergraduate Hall of Fame

Alpha Sigma Phi Nationals recently recognized brother Blake Levy as one of the most distinguished members at the Undergraduate level honoring him with placement into Alpha Sigma Phis Undergraduate Hall of Fame. Simply put, Blake is as excellent a brother as any fraternity could hope to have. Last semester, Alpha Sig initiated a pledge class of 25 the largest in our history thanks to a rush committee lead by Senior, Blake Levy. His constant contributions have earned him the respect of his Alpha Sig brothers. He cares for the well-being Alpha Sig as an enterprise and cares for his brothers like family. Only 10 Undergraduates, nation-wide, are initiated into the Hall of Fame each year. Blake is humble and not one to shout his own praise -- so were glad to see him now recognized inside and outside of #9 Blake is also coordinating the second annual Johnny B. Horror Show an event commemorating the recent passing of our brother, Johnny Brungot taking place September 22nd

Where in the World is Alpha Sigma Phi?

Our brothers have travelled far and wide this summer. Their experiences and activities around the globe are highlighted in this segment

Sam Feldman spent the summer in living in Sierra Leone, working through Engineers Without Borders to install solar panels on an elementary school. Sean Toner is currently training with Siemens in Chicago, prepping for a full time job as a systems engineer in Blue Bell, PA. Toners work will entail designing controls for HVAC units in hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical companies, etc. Before starting at Siemens, Toner ventured across Europe, travelling through Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, and Greece over the course of a 24 day trip taken with 35 other recent grads. Looks like he had a great time!
