You can run the Touchstone CD-ROM program in two ways: 1. You can INSTALL THE PROGRAM on your computer. This is the method we recommend . After you install it, you don't need to put the disc into your CD-ROM drive to use the program. Also, if you install the program, you can add new expressions, notes, and examples to "My vocabulary notebook." 2. You can RUN THE PROGRAM OFF THE DISC. With this method, however, you need to put the disc into your CD-ROM drive each time you use the program. Also, you can 't add new expressions, notes, or examples to "My vocabulary notebook." To INSTALL the program on a PC: 1. Put the disc into the CD-ROM drive. 2a. A dialogue box asks "What do you want Windows to do?" Choose "Open folder to view files," and click on "OK." In the new window, click on "Setup.exe" or "Set up." Then click on "OK." 2b. Or, if there is no dialogue box, choose "Run" from the Start menu. Look for the letter of the CD-ROM drive and the file "Setup.exe" or "Setup." Then click o n "OK." 3. Follow the instructions. In the third dialogue box, choose the "Full Install" setup. 4. When you use the program again, click on the "Touchstone1A" program icon. You can find the icon on your desktop or in the "Touchstone 1A" folder in your prog ram menu. To run the program OFF THE DISC on a PC: 1. Each time you use the program, put the disc into your CD-ROM drive. 2a. A dialogue box asks "What do you want Windows to do?"
