A Web based tool that automatically updates the following information data bases available from EATON

Consulting Application Guide (CAG) Product Specification Templates (PSG) Distribution Catalog Control Catalog Aftermarket Solutions Catalog Sensor Solution Product Guide and more

ATU - Where to Get Started

Go to the EATON Consulting Engineers Resource page located at: http://www.eaton.com/consultant

ATU - You Should Get This Screen

Scroll down and look at the CENTER column

You will now have an ICON in your SYSTEM TRAY that will let you know the status of the ATU and this LINK is also used to access the database tools

Click on the Tab Updater E ICON in your SYSTEM TRAY to activate the ATU database tools

Select CAG sections one-at-a-time that you want to download by right-clicking over them OR Select ALL the TABs by Clicking on the FIRST TAB and Hold the SHIFT Key while SCROLLING all the way Down

Now simply right click over the selected tabs to download them to your computers ATU Program Database

You can now view the TAB. If you wish to edit or mark-up the sectionwe recommend you save it to my documents or some other area.

BY DEFAULT, the ATU will automatically Synchronize every time you are connected to the INTERNET, and will show it is doing so in the lower SYSTEM TRAY. This may slow down your computer when it is booting-up.

You can change the automatic synchronization on Start-up by selecting the TOOLS/OPTIONS button then point to Synchronize Options 28

You may choose to either leave the default setting which downloads every time you start your computer OR You can pick the option to simply have them marked as outdated so you can download them at a more convenient time

Newer Version Available

Download as in step #12 When a tab is outdated it will appear as newer version available instead of Current Version Just right click to download!

ATU will appear in your PROGRAMS Directory as EATON CATALOGS and can be UNINSTALLED at any time
