Definition: A pronoun (pro noun) is a word used for a noun.

pro means therefore

for, in place of a noun. No NOUN after a PRONOUN

It is probably the most important thing that you have to remember.

Examples:

The book is on the table. It is on the table.

Do you see it?

I see Marie. I see her. She is reading your letter.

He will give the letter to Peter and Jacqueline. He will give them the letter.
