Water Activities Water Exercise Classes- Join us for a low-impact workout entirely completed in the water. Morning classes meet in the warm-water pool for a work-out suitable for all ages and abilities. Evening classes meet in the lap-pool and do include entering into the deep end with floatation devices. Morning Time: M-F 9am-10am/ Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 6pm-7pm Arthritis Water Workout- This course is designed to be a suitable low-impact workout for anyone suffering from any immobility and inflexibility issues. Gain strength and reduce jointpain with our Arthritis Water Workout offered through partnerships with the Arthritis Foundation. All classes are taught in the warm-water pool to provide maximum comfort. Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:45pm-5:45pm Swim Lessons- Lessons are available for all ages and abilities. Parent/Child 5pm, Level I 5:30pm, Level II 6pm, Level III 6:30pm, Level IV/V 7pm. Adult lessons are available pending interest. Time: July 9th- August 1st Tuesdays & Thursdays Cost: $40 per session Land Activities Senior Fitness: Mon, Wed, Thur10:00am Cost: FREE Zumba- A fusion of Latin and International music-dance themes create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system. Ditch the workout and join the party with our new Zumba instructor; Kristin! Check out FREE Zumba in the park on July 6th. Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 7pm-7:55pm Boot camp Workout: Join ex-Marine, Meghan, as she gives you a total body workout that can be adapted to any age and ability. From kickboxing, to yoga, to circuit training, you will never get bored with this great all-around class! Time: Monday/Thursday (6pm-6:55pm), Saturday 10am-10:55am. B.E.A.S.T.: Build Endurance with Strength & Agility Training. This class will provide an opportunity for development of strength and conditioning for various sports and fitness related activities. Engage all muscle groups, burn calories and build muscular endurance in this high intensity cardiovascular workout. This interval training routine blends strength and cardio alternating circuits using body weight, a variety of equipment and partner work. The circuit training workout is loaded with functional exercises designed to give you the ultimate challenge. This class is meant for intermediate-advanced athletes. Taught by Franchise. Time: Tuesdays 6pm/Thursdays 7pm iCore- This core-focused class will pay specific attention to the abdominals, obliques, and back. Each exercise will be presented with higher and lower intensity options so this class is for all levels of fitness. There will be a warm and cool down portion to this class so you can attend after Bootcamp or come as a stand-alone workout! A stronger core can improve lower back pain, increase balance, and decrease risk of injuries. Time: Mondays 7pm-7:30pm/Saturdays 11am-11:30am

Fit n Flexible- Increase your flexibility. Becoming flexible is a key component of being fit and healthy! In each relaxing 45 minute session, we will work on dynamic & static stretches that target the entire body to make you feel recharged! Time: 6pm on Wednesdays beginning July 24th Tennis With Parks & Rec- All elementary age children can join us for Tennis lessons this summer at College Park. All abilities are welcomed, but you must have your own racket. We must have a minimum of 4 children pre-registered for each session to run. Cost: $40 per child per session Time: Session I -June 11th-27th Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:30am-10:30am Session II- July 9th-25th Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:30am-10:30am Summer Day Camp- Ages 5-12 years old can join us for our annual Summer Day Camp. Every day will be an adventure with field trips, swim days, crafts, and more! Lunch is provided daily. Cost: $10 per child for the ENTIRE CAMP Time: June 10th-July 5th Monday-Friday (No camp on July 4th) 9am-1pm Agility Camp- Join us for an all around agility camp that will help any athlete get ready to be at the top of their game. This two-week camp will meet twice a day, three days a week. The AM session will be geared towards all around agility and the PM session will focus on football skills and tactics. This camp is aimed at the middle school and high school athlete. Teacher and former football player Steven Franchise will give you the workout you have been looking for! Please pre-register at the front desk. Cost: $100 per participant for the entire session/ &60 for one week. When: June 24th, 26th, 28th/July 1st, 3rd, 5th (9:30am/7:30pm) Kite Flying Day- Enjoy a an afternoon of flying! We will take to the sky on July 6th. The flying begins at 11:30am at College Park Bike Rodeo- Come enjoy a morning of bike fun and safety on July 27th! We are hosting a bike rodeo to promote healthy lifestyles and safe biking. We, in partnership with the Elks Lodge & Health Department, will be giving away bikes and safety gear. We will be giving away many bikes and prizes, teaching safety, and playing awesome games! Please bring a bike and helmet if you have one. The event is FREE but pre-registration is MANDATORY! Give us a call or stop by Parks & Rec today and let us know the ages that are attending. Time: July 27th 9:30am Winchester Elks Lodge Cost: FREE with mandatory pre-registration ZUMBA in the Park: Join the party at 10am in College Park for a FREE Zumba class. If possible, we ask that you wear a bright color and be ready to sweat! This is open to the public so bring a friend and start your Saturday off right! LOOKING AHEAD Dog Swim Day- In preparation for our annual shut-down and draining of the pool, we are going to let our facility go to the dogs on August 10th! Bring your water dog if he/she is friendly, able to swim, and vaccinated. Dog lifejackets are allowed, but will not be provided. Humans will need to stay on land,. Annual Shut Down- We will be closing the facility for our annual shut down in order to do maintenance needed to keep the facility as clean and functional as possible for our patrons. The pool will shut down to swimmers August 10th. The entire facility will be shut down August 12th and everything will re-open on August 20th. There will be no fitness classes during this time. Dog Obedience Classes- Dog obedience classes through Community Education will start on August 26th Mondays/Thursdays at 6pm.
