Knowledge, deficit regarding Pulmonary tuberculosis and its treatment related to lack of information dissemination as evidenced by misconceptions about health status.
To enhance the health seeking behavior on TB by communities specially the TB symptomatic Patient will: Verbalize understanding of disease process and prevention. Initiate behaviors/lifestyle changes to improve general well-being and reduce risk of reactivation of TB. Identify symptoms requiring evaluation/intervent ion.
Assess patients ability to learn, such as level of fear, concern, participation level; best environment in which patient can learn; best media and language; who should be included. Provide lectures and Encourage patient to verbalize fears and concerns and answer their questions factually.
Provides opportunity to correct misconceptions and anxiety. Inadequate finances may affect with managing the tasks necessary to regain and maintain health. Helps patient realize/accept necessity of adhering to medication regimen to prevent reactivation/complication . Understanding of how
