Do not be perturbed, God is right here with us, and always in us.

With reconciliation everyone, Christian or non-Christian will go to Heaven. This is a rejoinder to my discourse that 9/10 of Christians will not get to heaven. I received a complaint that my despondent view was constricted by my emphasis on the Parable of the Goats and Sheep. My explanation here is that this is the probability in terms of one lifetime or a point or slice in any one life time. With reconciliation, eventually everyone, Christians or non-Christians, will go to Heaven. Otherwise, it would make nonsense of universal or catholic salvation and the Parable that that the Good Shepherd will search for every single lost sheep. Say, I agree with the points that you made. That is exactly the point about worldly things, including worldly writing. Every perception is based on, among other things, the mood and countenance that you are in. Of course the Bible is more than 'goats and sheep'; and obviously I was conveniently using the Parable of the Sheep and Goats as a 'fulcrum' to 'see-saw' issues through practitioners' minds. I was not admonishing the 3 applicants as goats per se. The point is missed that we are 'fused' as goat and sheep in us, like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. We cannot say we are a 'goat' as separate from our being as a 'sheep'. We are both; in one we are 'mortal' and in the other we are 'eternal'! We are 'Adam before and after the Fall'. Eternal Adam never died and can never die; he is just worldly lost in mortal man! Therefore even though we are metaphorically on Jacobs Ladder because of the 'goat' in us, we are also there in the 'sheep' in us. The bible passage [Genesis 29:12] in fact actually speaks of 'angels' going up and down Jacob's Ladder. So how can you say that because of our karmic consequences we are 'distant' from God? We are 'in God and God is in us' even though we have the 'goat' fused in the 'sheep' in us. You cannot get closer to God than that! The 'distance' is only in our ego 'mind'! In our consciousness God has never been away from us. We are 'lost' in our ego mind! In our 'spirit' consciousness we have never been out of God's arms! Imagine we are like a mentally handicapped child; we are 'not quite there', we are sort of 'lost'; but God is still patiently holding us in his arms, never ever leaving us! That is why I say that God is not concerned with our worldly sins. God is concerned solely with the 'issue' that in our ego 'mind' we are lost to him; because we are lost in our worldly self-ego illusion. God loves us as we are. He is not separate from us even though we are 'separate' from him, in our ego 'mind'! That is why I say that 'we are all saved' regardless of whether we are Christians or not Christians, yellow, purple or green; regardless of whether we are good or bad. When God said that we shall have no 'idols' before him, he was referring to our ego; which separate us from him, which make us 'lost' to our false senses from being spell cast by the Tree of Knowledge. When we have to carry our own cross this is simply stating the obvious, that we carry whatever hang-ups we have and we suffer from whatever hang-ups we have. But as long as we make our way back 'home' to our senses, as long as God eventually finds us as 'not lost', what does it matter how long it takes for us to wake up? Even if it takes a million existence or lives, it is still a short time in God's eternal time of eternity. It is quite irrelevant from the point of view of the depth and unconditionality of God's love how long it takes for us to come to our senses. What is important is the undying patience of God's love

that it knows no bounds or limits. God loves us as we are! God is always right there waiting for us to wake up! Refocus away from the 'goat' in us and to the beautiful fact that we have the 'sheep' in us. If it were not so, there would have been no point for Jesus to incarnate as a Son of Man! Do you want me to illustrate why I know God is close to us even when we are like 'mental retards' as his children? A 'mental retard' of a son will see the flower blossoming and he would smile. That is God telling us we can be reborn in the spirit. When the flower dies, God is hoping that the 'mental retard' of a son will see that our worldly form has to die for us to go back to the Spirit Father! But it does not really matter. God is omni-patient! God loves us as we are! No matter how long it takes for us to come to our senses! I like to conclude that I am compelled to talk about 'goats' because practitioners have become complacent from just seeing themselves as having their sins 'redeemed' by the simple fact that they are Christians. As I said we are or we will all be saved, sooner or later. But why wait? Even though God's love is boundless. Google on Youtube and watch Franoise Hardy singing 'The Rose'. Love always, Take care. Now famously known as the " sheep and goats message". In a way it is a pity really because the Bible Story is of course more than about "sheep and goats". I say this because it has put a restrictive band on your wisdom preach. I have a different take from you on the three followers who had difficulty taking up quickly Christ's invitation to follow Christ on his Spiritual journey. I think it is rather unfair for you to admonish them as being goats and not having the will or fibre or wherewithal to respond to Christ's call. I would like to believe that Luke brought up this story not to suggest that Christ casted a character stain on these three followers but rather to reveal that whilst many or all are called, the good Lord recognises that for the majority of us, not the minority as implied in just mentioning three followers, there could be issues or attachments or vestiges in our present disposition or from the past that have held us back from getting closer to God or being able to enjoy the presence and the grace of God. So rather than admonishing them as Goats ( and thrown back to climb up and down the Jacob's Ladder as you put it or thrown back to the endless karmic cycles as you have described in you Buddhist pieces) we should seek to understand and sympathise with people who cannot answer more promptly to Christ's calling.

For many of us, what has distanced us from God is that our hearts and soul are too much filled up with hatred, pride, vindictiveness, unforgivingness, greed and other baggages to allow us to see the glory, the love and the grace of God. For some of us we are dead in the heart. So how can we then respond to God's call which is simply a call to go home a home of Love and Grace. A call to love God and our neighbours. Of course for some, their distance from God is purely based in Sin and Criminality. That is the Satan gang which is better discussed another time. For now, our task is to assist our three incalcitrant followers walk along further and faster on the road to Salvation and God. Regards Say 30/6/13
