Hello, I'm Deborah, the creative mind behind the art here at Deborah Berard Photography. I'm in love with all things colorful and bold including but not limited to: fashion, art, fonts, my girlfriends, and my coffee choices. I am an Army wife, a step mother, a best friend, a grand daughter. I love animals more than people on most days, and our happy home includes 3 fur babies that are my world. In true artist form I am both overly sensitive and an over thinker with a pretty bad case of OCD, but I love my art with every ounce of my soul, and spend every day still searching for that inner artistic peace. I love my clients like family, and my desire to please their spirit is what pushes me to go beyond the standard photograph.

My typical client is one who wants more than your vanilla portrait. They want to climb trees and kiss in the rain. They want to dress their daughters in tutus and their sons in vintage bow ties. They want to stand in a wheat field in an amazing fuchsia dress with storm clouds overhead. In a word, they want art. Lets create some together...

I board the plane bound for NYC. The city I was born in and moved from at the ripe old age of 6. I had not been back to the Big Apple in years, and I was so excited to get my rental car and start the 3 hour journey to the Hamptons. When I arrived, I Betsy Johnson met a fellow photographer whom I had been chatting with prior to this event. She and I grabbed a coffee and proceeded to tell each other all of the forever. We watched, as she owed from room to reasons why we were so very nervous! room, and I absorbed her enthusiasm like a sponge. Thoroughly fueled by caffeine, we found our way By the evenings end we were worn out but to the mansion by the sea. And oh what a grand fullled completely. And although the rain prevented home it was!!! Quickly, we met those who arrived me from doing some of the ideas I had planned, I early also, and one by one others followed. By the felt that I had captured some amazing images and end of our evening the living room was lled with stories and laughter while we inhaled pizza and wine also made some life long friends in the process. coolers. It was a late night indeed. The next morning arrived quickly and we all gathered downstairs for the beginning of our interview process. Our host, The [F]ramed Network, was most gracious as they took us one by one to tell our stories. I was nervous! I had not been on camera in years, and although I have had much practice, like anything else, if you dont use it you lose it. As the day progressed we were all a witness to the amazing creations of Miss Aniela. If you havent seen her work you, youre missing out. Under the deep blue, calming water, youre weightless. And you can move and create virtually anything that you could imagine. From underwater Maternity portraits to Childrens Fantasy, & Fashion. Under the water is the perfect place to experiment. This summer of 2013, Deborah Berard Photography is excited to nally be able to offer the people of central Texas something that only a few other photographers do.. Underwater Portrait Sessions. Your ultimate swim date starts with professional hair and professional make up, specially designed for under water photography. We will then head to the pool where 2 underwater spotters will be waiting to assist you get into place and assure your utmost safety. We take the time to explain every detail about your shoot. Then we allow you to take as much time as you need to become familiar with what it feels like to be under the water, fully clothed and with the added weight of wet fabric. Once you are completely comfortable we will take it slow. We will help you with posing and movement. We will allow you to oat, and swim, and simply play around in the warm waters while we snap away. We use professional grade underwater gear to assure the very best quality. Our spotters are trained in CPR and are PADI Certied. Our underwater shooting season is limited. Workshops With Purpose exists to equip media professionals with opportunities to grow their craft while serving in a global environment, immersing themselves in other cultures and realizing the power of relationships and storytelling in their business and personal life.
