Answer the following questions in 150 to 200 words: How do you determine which information is noteworthy? The first thing I do is write down various facts about the subject that I am writing about. Generally readers tend to believe in a topic when you give them facts about that topic. If something is repeated in the article more than one time I take it to be important. It the subject was important enough to be restated in the article it is important enough for me to notate it.

How do you determine whether to summarize, paraphrase, or quote a source? You should quote when you cannot paraphrase or summarize the article without changing the authors point of view. You can also quote something when it is a great quote itself. One example a great quote would be is the only thing to fear is fear itself. You should paraphrase when you want to kept the same meaning but change the way the subject is being stated. You should summarize when need to condense the material you are writing on. When you just want to focus on the main points you can summarize.
