INCIDENT: Homicide LOCATION: Uniondale DATE/TIME: June 30, 2013, 1045 ITEM: 03

The Homicide Squad is investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 10:45 A.M. in Uniondale. According to detectives, two males were involved in a verbal altercation in front of 625 Hill Street. The argument escalated when the subject (male black, no further description) armed with a handgun shot the 34 year male victim and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to Nassau County Medical Center by private auto where he was pronounced at 12:25 P.M. by hospital staff. The victims identity is being withheld pending family notification. Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.

The Homicide Squad has identified the victim in the above homicide as Isaac Andrews, 52 of Uniondale. They have also identified the subject responsible for the above crime as Jonathan D. Mack (not yet arrested). If anyone has information pertaining to Macks location they are asked to contact Nassau Contact Crime Stoppers.
