Tetric Ceram HB

HB = Heavy Body competence in composites

THE PACKABLE TETRIC CERAM THE LARGE AMOUNT OF CERAMIC FILLERS ENABLES THE MATERIAL TO FULFIL THE DEMANDS OF POSTERIOR TEETH

Tetric Ceram HB

FOR LONG-LASTING RESTORATIONS

THE HIGHLY VISCOUS VERSION OF TETRIC CERAM Tetric Ceram Heavy Body is designed to meet the specific demands of posterior teeth. It is based on the same chemistry as Tetric Ceram. However, the amount of ceramic fillers in the material is higher than in Tetric Ceram. Despite its firm consistency, the material does not stick to instruments when it is packed into the cavity.

IS APPLIED IN INCREMENTS The material containing high-quality filler particles is applied in increments of 2.5-mm thickness. These layers can be cured in 20 seconds. Like all the other Tetric products, Tetric Ceram HB has a low sensitivity to operatory and ambient light. Therefore, it can be applied without having to rush.

AND IS AVAILABLE IN A VARIETY OF POPULAR SHADES Six popular shades are available for the creation of aesthetic restorations. The large openings of the Cavifils facilitate the application of the material.

OFFERS OUTSTANDING RADIOPACITY Radiodiagnostics are particularly important for examining posterior teeth. Scientific studies have shown that Tetric Ceram HB exhibits the highest radiopacity of all the other highly viscous materials. Consequently, secondary caries are easier to detect.

Scientific studies Comprehensive studies have been conducted on all the products of the Tetric Line. The results have been compiled in one document, which we will send to you on request. Please order it through your Ivoclar Vivadent consultant or the Internet at www.ivoclarvivadent.com

AND HAS WON OVER THE DENTAL WORLD:

Dr Wolfgang Fischer
Germany

Since its introduction, Tetric Ceram HB has been the material of choice for restoring posterior teeth in our practice. The Cavifil delivery form in particular is ideal for a mouldable ceramic restorative material. The materials stability and moulding properties are unparalleled and allow gnathologically oriented occlusal structures to be successfully recreated. If the appropriate operative technique is used, the material adapts to the restoration margins unlike any other fine particle hybrid. The adherence of the material to the modelling instruments is ideal. As the material is not sensitive to operatory lights, enough time is available to contour the restoration. I think Tetric Ceram HB is the best posterior restorative material on the market. It is so good that I can do without all the others.
