Section 1 Peak Handrail

Peak Handrail is for 72 peak ring on CB18 CB34 Attach posts to top lid with 7/16 bin bolts that attach lid to inner ring.

Roof Walkway Assembly

Roof walkway is to be located on roof next to manhole location, adjacent a roof beam. Roof walkway may be assembled on ground and lifted on to roof. Attach 1st stair section to roof panel with bolting angles, 10 up from eave of tank.

Attach bolting angles to angle under walkway section with 5/16 x bin bolts. Adjust width of bolting angle so that bolting angles can be attached to roof panel ribs. Field drill holes in roof panel ribs and attach bolting angle with 5/16 x bin bolts.

On V Rib roof panels field drill holes on top of the V Rib and attach bolting angle with 5/16 x bin bolts.

On single piece roofs (CB12 CB20), use all short bolting angles. On 2 piece roofs (CB22 CB50), use tall bolting angles on lower roof and short bolting angles on upper roof.

Attach walkway section together with 5/16 bin bolts.

Attach posts to steps with 5/16 x bin bolts. 1st post on manhole side is left off to allow access to manhole.

If walkway is going to be used with peak platform, attach stairs to platform post with brackets as shown. Holes will need field drilled into peak post to attach brackets.
